“Sure! Here's the English translation of your text: Part 1 of the Ghost Hunt and the Winner of the TERPECA Awards in 2018. Audio drama elements, well-built sets, and a fitting story help explain why this room won back then. These days, it feels a bit outdated – especially the skill-based puzzles. However, one particular tool really stood out. Conclusion: Definitely worth playing.”

“Immersive and interactive. It’s always fun when creativity and play are thrown into the mix. We did two rooms with this company and would happily do them all. Escape Couple rating: 5 🗝️: Excellent room with wow factors (we use a 1-6🗝️ rating scale)”

“I played this game with three of my coworkers (all gamemasters) and two friends One of my favorite rooms to this day - The set design was immaculate, again. Skurrilum knows how to design room and make you feel like you're actually at the place where the story tells you you are - Definitely for adults. If you're fine with sextoys and other typical Reeperbahn-stuff, you can play this room - The gamemaster was really friendly and also funny. Loved talking to him and he played his role perfectly - The riddles were easy, but logical, fun and fit the theme perfectly - The experience itself was great - 4 people would be great for this room, due to how the game starts All in all: one of my favorite rooms to this day. Makes a lot of fun and we didn't want it to end. The way they give the hints (they showed us at the end since we didn't need any hints) is really funny and fits the theme. Definitely recommended to anyone who's fine with the topic of sex, alcohol and Reeperbahn. 5/5.”

“Great room with a lot of love put into it! Story is cool just don’t think to much about it ;) puzzles are great for advanced players as they can be quite tricky without hints. Can definitely recommend playing this one!”

“This is about as good a room as we’ve ever played when it comes to a standard 60 minute, puzzle-oriented room. It’s not overly flashy or grand, but it has some really fun surprises in store. Puzzle flow was really good, we never needed a hint and we knew what we needed to be working on at all times. I thought the puzzles were reasonably challenging, some were a bit easy, others were a little tougher and took a few minutes to click. Overall we had a lot of fun and felt accomplished at the end.”

“We love when a room really wows us with what felt like magic tricks. This really tapped into theatricality and we are HERE FOR IT. Deep into the boat where no other tourists get to go. Absolutely stellar, clever use of multi floor space and puzzles. Escape Couple rating: 6 🗝️: Best of the best (we use a 1-6🗝️ rating scale) As of writing, #9 on our all time Top Ten list.”

“I really had a lot of fun in this room. It was really well designed and it had a nice and spooky atmosphere. It was a lot of fun getting spooked here and there but not to the point where it got annoying. The riddles are also very logical and were fun to solve but followed the same general structure as the other Hidden Games escape rooms. Still can very much recommend this room to everyone. If you are very scared of horror just let them know and they will make it way less spooky for you :)”

“Lots of spaces (crawling, climbing, sliding into a hole with a skull) and reveals. Bonus puzzles for the extra competitive / talented. Great production value. Indiana Jones themed. Escape Couple rating: 5 🗝️: Excellent room with wow factors (we use a 1-6🗝️ rating scale)”

“One of my favourites! The room was definitely on the more challenging side of escaperooms but its not at all unfair or hard to play. The atmosphere very much gives the experience of being in a mineshaft. The strongest part imo were the well crafted puzzles and the flow of the game overall. Deadlines Gold Mine is a must play!”

“A well rounded escaperoom experience set on a deserted island. This room had one of the most unique settings and designs. Our team took a little time to get used to this kind of approach where the solving aspect is more rewarding than searching but after a small adjustment time this room really shows what it can do! Would recommend!”

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
