The Doll House
Scram Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
This is the best room at this specific venue, you will be separated at the start of the game. The aesthetic of the room is well done with the room feeling creepy but I don't think this room is very scary. The puzzles flowed quite well but some things may be easy to miss since the majority of the room will be done in the dark. The only complaint about this room is there are multiple of the same identical locks, and you have to test your codes on every lock to find the right one, switching some of the locks out or marking them in a way will make this significantly better. The gamemasters themselves do add to the experience of the room.
Vampire Castle
Mission Escape Pitt St
Escape room

This is an ok room but not too much that is memorable about it. The majority of the room is spent searching for items before you're allowed to solve puzzles. The set design for the room is also average.
Godfather
Paniq Room Sydney
Escape room
IRL
This room works as a reverse escape room where you try to get in instead of get out. The subtle nods at The Godfather movie was great and the set design was on point. I feel like the puzzles felt very start and stop and there was always a bit of guessing on what to do next. You do need to search around the rooms before you stumble upon a well hidden clue.
Supercell 117
Paniq Room Sydney

I completed this room as a group of 2. We were blindfolded and put into two different cells and after taking my blindfold off, I proceeded to run into everything possible cause I'm kinda stupid. Anyway this room is a good experience, your team will be split between two cells and you will have to constantly communicate if you want to get out. Having a competent team mate in each cell will definitely make or break your experience. Nearly all puzzles requiring passcodes found on your side are meant for your team mate's side. It really forces you to communicate what you found clearly or will fail and that is where this room shines. Puzzle-wise, there is a good variety and each puzzle is unique distinct from each other. There is also a lot of searching needed in the room and not finding a clue may cause you to lose a lot of time.
The Last Order
Mission Escape Pitt St
Escape room
IRL
Mission is really good at making puzzles that fit within the theme of the game and The Last Order is no exception. All the puzzles utilise items which can be found within a hotel room. However this room is not the same as Mission's other rooms, primarily focusing on the story for this particular room. Putting yourself into the story will definitely improve your experience with this room. However this room does rely a fair bit on video sequences and there's no way to speed them up which does slow down the flow a little bit. Still a good room though.
House of Jumanji

I liked this room quite a bit and is how multilinear rooms should be handled. As soon as you enter, all players should split up and start solving different puzzles. This is very much the case for this room as there are four ways you can go and think perfect as a non linear room. All puzzles are marked with a symbol to tell you where to input your answers. Definitely one of the better rooms at paniq.
Wizardry
Paniq Room Sydney

This is room is just ok in my opinion, a lot of the items you find come in the form of ambigious clues written on parchment. There's a lot of guesswork needed for a large majority of the puzzles when trying to figure out what to do next. Aesthetically the room looks great, taking inspiration from Harry Potter.
Death on the Rocks [Outdoor]
CityDays - Sydney
Escape room
IRL
Obviously since this is an Outdoor escape room, this experience is not like your traditional room. We started this adventure at Town Hall and ended within The Rocks. This was a great experience, there are 17 puzzles in total and they are on the easy side since this is more catered towards tourists and families. The entire game is played entirely through WhatsApp and the cycle involves getting a prompt, heading to the location of the prompt and looking at a structure or statue to answer the prompt which will then result in the next prompt. We discovered areas that we had not explored before and it gave us more insight on the vastness of the CBD. I very much recommend this experience for anyone. However there is a lot of walking involved and it took us about 2 hours to complete.

There's a lot to do in this room, you can start from any of the 5 puzzles when you start this room. There is a little of bit of guesswork needed to figure out which prop is needed for what puzzle and some things are easy to miss if you don't look everywhere in the room. The puzzles were good but some lacked a little direction in which you were supposed to solve them. The story seemed to be a lost very quickly through the game, you are told the synopsis at the start and then only at the end do you find out the answer, which is quite abrupt. There was one puzzle which did not function correctly and the gamemaster had to give us the next prop to proceed. Overall this is a good room with good aesthetics and good puzzles.

I attempted this room solo. I don't know why this is the lowest rated room at this location. I personally thought it was one of the best with challenging puzzles. There was a bit of issues reading some clues due to wear and tear from other attempts but otherwise the puzzles made sense. There are QR codes littered around the room to help you if you are ever stuck. Usually, you aren't meant to force things open in escape rooms but there was a specific instance where you do actually have to force something open which had me stuck for a bit. Overall I paid only $10 due to a charity promotion and it was very much worth it!
