Pushed for TimeEscape PlanEscape roomIRLThis was a fun escape room with some fun features that i'd not seen before. The puzzle solving was very linear so which made it straightforward at times. Some of the set design was excellent and very immersive but other areas left a little to be desired, for example there were exposed air ventilation units and windows open to the outside. Overall it was a very fun experience if a little expensive for two players. Lidia our host was very enthusiastic.
Body CollectorsEscape City BuffaloEscape roomIRLThis was a very immersive room with lots of fun saw-themed props. It was on the easy side but we didn't mind because of the great atmosphere.
Block 29 A Bedlam StoryXScream EscapesEscape roomIRLThis was an enjoyable room, though it was over sooner than I'd have liked. We were separated into two cells and the lions share of the time was spent before we'd broken out and all started to work together. We didn't get any back story but I presume there is one. A good room which felt immersive, but could perhaps benefit from a few extra puzzles.
The MummyEscape Zone Long IslandEscape roomIRLThis was a disappointing experience. We tried to drop in to do a game but were made to wait outside and book online before we could enter. When we did enter we found the room itself was poorly maintained (which made the game unintentionally difficult). For example there was a key which we had revealed but which was stuck so far down a hole by the gamemaster that it was unreachable. There were also puzzles which had broken which we were not informed about meaning we were scratching out head trying to solve something that there was no padlock for. This is a classic example of a large escape room chain which leaves it's rooms poorly maintained and run by inexperienced uninterested staff. It is also more expensive than average. Avoid.
Area 405The Escape OmahaEscape roomIRLThis was a very basic room with few frills and not many puzzles to solve. The puzzles themselves were straightforward, often involving simply reading numbers or letters. When we escaped we had to alert the staff as they were not monitoring us.
