Adventures in WonderlandWondermore Escape AdventuresEscape roomIRLThe set design was impressive, with each area offering a unique look and feel that perfectly captured Alice's story. The puzzles were inventive and tied cleverly to the narrative, with minimal reliance on traditional locks. The last puzzle was a real head turner. However, the room is beginning to show signs of wear and tear from frequent use by younger players. It remains a creative and fun experience, but it's worth keeping expectations in check. It sounds like the owners have some fresh ideas brewing, and we can’t wait to see their next room!

BLOTRECONEscape roomVirtual Very fun online escape game for RECON 2025. Great job by GM/Creator Mark improvising and guiding our group through this adventure. The most fun I've had being a janitor!
Carbon: 3708Mission Escape GamesEscape roomIRLWe fell short of escaping Carbon: 3708 at Mission Escape Games in NYC. With only two of us, this high-tech room proved to be quite a challenge. From the video introductions and light sequences to the electronic puzzles and a surprising twist before entering the second room, the technology was truly impressive. The futuristic design was also well-executed. However, we encountered a few roadblocks where we were completely stumped and needed hints from the gamemaster. We used all five of the available clues, but still couldn't crack the code in time. Tip: If you're planning on tackling this room, bring a bigger team! There were several puzzles that required a lot of back and forth with just the two of us
Carny CryptHaunted Forest at Panic PointHauntHaunted houseCarny Crypt is a haunted house in an old double wide trailer with a creative backstory. The theme was clowns and the carnival. Lots of tight twists and turns, bright lights, scary sights, and Killer Clowns threatening you. It was the most cramped of the Panic Point attractions I did - with all the acreage they have, it's a shame this wasn't bigger. It felt like it got done awfully fast for having to wait in line for over 20 minutes. Worth seeing if you have the multi-attraction pass, otherwise go for the longer haunts like the haunted trails.
City with No SunNerd EscapesEscape roomIRLCity With No Sun was an unforgettable escape room experience—all in complete darkness ⚫️! To solve this room, we had to rely entirely on our other senses: touch, smell, sound, and even taste. From tactile puzzles to a smell challenge and more, every moment felt unique and immersive. We started in separate rooms, communicating to reunite by solving parallel puzzles. We’ve done a split-start room before, so I made some assumptions based on that previous room how things might work but I was wrong. It’s a great reminder that every escape room is its own adventure. Though the room was pitch black, I felt totally comfortable. However, it might not be ideal for those who are uncomfortable in the dark or prone to claustrophobia. If you're an experienced player looking for a new challenge, I highly recommend it. Just keep your group to four or fewer players to avoid feeling cramped—and definately play a few other rooms first to build your skills!
ClueBreakout Games - GreensboroEscape roomIRLWe love the 80s Clue movie with Tim Curry and enjoyed playing the board game as kids, and were curious to see how well the Clue room at Breakout Games would live up to the source material. Like the game, our goal was to find out who, with what, and where. The room had a touch screen that showcased all the choices that we used to eliminate possibilities along the way - this bit of tech was essential in keeping up with the goal and immersing us in the game. They incorporated the potential murder weapons so well into the game play, and since we're used to seeing things like candlesticks and ropes in escape rooms, it didn't dawn on me immediately the significance of why they were in this particular room. The infamous color-coded characters of the game were mentioned throughout, and it felt like they were just a room away from us. The only misstep was a color coded puzzle where several of the colors were hard to distinguish and we spent a lot longer on that puzzle than was needed as a result.
Cosmic CrisisThe Escape Game - BrooklynEscape roomIRLCosmic Crisis is my #1 room played (with 22 currently played). A brilliant space/sci-fi theme that defies expectations through a clever subversion of a familiar trope. Many unique puzzle types. The clue system was different than anything else at The Escape Game that I've done (this was my 6th there). And that ending!!! 😢 One of the puzzles required a lot of back and forth with only two players; would have been easier with four to six people. Didn't take anything away from our experience, just know you're going to be running around a lot if you have two players. Highly recommend this one. Only available at a handful of their locations - worth heading over to Brooklyn for this if you'll be in New York City - 20 minute subway ride from the theatre district (then play Timeliner there too!) The team at The Escape Game in Brooklyn provided top-notch customer service, treating us like VIPs throughout our experience. City Point, where the room is located, boasts a fantastic food hall with a wide variety of delicious options. We highly recommend planning your visit around mealtime to enjoy their culinary offerings
Dark Trail: SwampHaunted Forest at Panic PointHauntHaunted trailWhile Dark Trail might be the "little sister" to Panic Point's behemoth Haunted Forest, it offers its own brand of thrills in a more manageable package. Don't expect a marathon of scares – Dark Trail is shorter and less intense, with fewer attractions scattered along the winding path. However, what it lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality. This trail plunges you into the inky blackness of the woods, the only guide a thin rope and the occasional friendly face of a non-costumed staff member keeping you on track. But beware! The real scares lurk within the creepy houses, vehicles, and structures that punctuate the trail. The set design here is top-notch, meticulously crafted to heighten the atmosphere. A talented cast of actors combined with expertly placed sound effects, flashing lights, and strategically placed "monsters" will have you jumping at every rustle and shadow.
Dark Winter's Night - Clash With KrampusBackstage Escape GamesEscape roomIRLFun theme and creepy vibe. Challenging room that took several hints to solve. Several puzzles were finicky to get to work. I’d recommend a max of 4 people for this room, even though they say it can fit 8. Our group had 7 and we were very cramp(us) in there, especially since 5 of the folks were strangers to us. Company didn't offer the option to pay for a private room for just me and my husband.
