BioNova BreakoutKryptoScape Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis is a difficult room. We completed all the other rooms at this location but only made it to the last room with a few minutes to go. Lots of number based puzzles. The atmosphere is very good. This location always has fun designs and props.
A Pirate's CurseEscapology - LynnwoodEscape roomIRLThis was a great room for making you feel like you are on a pirate ship. The puzzles were some of the easiest at this location. I’ve played 4 others here and this was the easiest of them. We finished pretty quickly. Warning to older players, there is a part where it requires crawling. If you have bad knees or have a hard time getting down on the ground you may want to skip it or make sure to play with someone who can crawl.
7 Deadly SinsEscapology - LynnwoodEscape roomIRLThe first room is mostly easy. The puzzles are simple to figure out. We got through this part in about 10 min. The 2nd room is where things got a little off. We solved one puzzle that was supposed to trigger a change in the room and reveal a clue you’ll need to move forward but it did not work. The gm had to display the clue on the screen for us. This made us lose about 20 min due to this issue. We still finished the room but with only 10 or so min to go. Would have been much faster if the room all worked. The atmosphere is very good on this room. It’s not scary but does have a spooky vibe. The end was kind of lame. It only required solving a couple puzzles and then it just gave you the final piece. We’ve done most of the rooms at this location and this one was probably somewhere in the middle for fun.
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - LynnwoodEscape roomIRLIf you are a fan of scooby doo this is the room you need to do. It is an official escape room that has the rights to scooby doo so you’ll see actual characters from the show in the story and in the puzzles. The room isn’t really hard but it also isn’t too kid centered. If you’re an adult you’ll probably still enjoy this room. The staff at this location said this was the most popular room by far out of all the available rooms.
Lost CityEscapology - LynnwoodEscape roomIRLIt was ok. This was the first room we did at eacapology and it felt cookie cutter. The final room was also kind of a let down. It’s ok and still fun but not as good as some of the other rooms at other locations.
Alice: ReimaginedConundroom - Avalon ParcsquareEscape roomIRLI really like conundroom games. The rooms are always immersive and the story and puzzles are fun. However this room just didn’t do it. It’s one of the first rooms they came out with way back but it is very old. Even after the updating it still feels like an old worn out room. It’s on for kids maybe but for adults it’s better to skip it. They have better rooms.
The Ghost ShipConundroom - Avalon ParcsquareEscape roomIRLWe’ve completed a lot of escape rooms and this is easily in the top 3 for atmosphere and fun. This is one of those rare rooms where it actually makes you feel like you are inside the story and in a real pirate ship. The puzzles are varied and the difficulty changes throughout the game with some being more difficult than others. Great room. One of the top in the area
The VaultConundroom - Downtown ParkEscape roomIRLLots of broken things in this room. It was ok but not a favorite. Felt boring at times. They’ve tried to update it to a more fallout theme but overall this isn’t one of the better ones.
Prison EscapeFlee: The Ultimate Real Life Escape GameEscape roomIRLWorst room I’ve played out of all the rooms at different businesses. Gamemaster didn’t give full instructions on how to reset locks if you put in a wrong code. The UV flashlights also had batteries that were so worn down only 1 worked and the other was very weak and couldn’t be used to see the puzzle. Clues were bad and gameplay was not fun. Even the set design was cheap. Do not recommend this location.
Antidote: Chemical WarfareEscapology - LynnwoodEscape roomIRLWe’ve played over 20 rooms and this is one of the worst. The very first clue you have to solve relies on players knowing a riddle that can’t be found anywhere in the room. Also there are a couple puzzles that don’t give enough instruction so you end up doing trial and error. The story isn’t very good and the puzzles are boring. We usually have a lot of fun but with this room it just wasn’t there.
