Alice In Wonderland
Game Over Escape Rooms - Clearwater
Escape room
IRL
This room started off strong for me, I loved the first room, and I thought there were some clever puzzles in there, and I felt like we were really going to enjoy the room. But then we got into the second room and it came to a crashing halt. We stalled on one puzzle because we didn't realize that the first thing we did released a mechanism that we needed to finish it. Now, we could have messed around to see if something changed, but a sound effect would have helped us to check around for it. And then there is a table maze that was overly frustrating. I liked the idea of the table maze, but the implementation of it was done poorly. And the final room was pretty simple and anticlimactic.

This room was a hoot! This is a public room, so my wife, myself, and our 7yr old daughter were joined by a mother and son duo, and we all had a blast in this room. So many practical puzzles that fit into the story so well. The story was funny, and our GM was amazing.

The Escape Ventures - Orlando

This was a very fun room. They did a great job of packing in a variety of puzzles in each room, and each room served its part to drive the story. This was the last room for us to do at TEV’s Orlando location (until their 6th room opens) and this was probably ranks 4th out of their five rooms for me. That’s not a slight at all either. All their rooms are top notch. If you’re wondering if you should play this room, Yes, yes you should. If you’re thinking about playing a different room at TEV, the answer is YES, you should. Any room, all the rooms, you can’t go wrong.

This was a very fun experience, and great for a date night. The surrounding neighborhood is great. The room is challenging and each level of subconscious offers new theming and varying puzzles which keeps it all fresh. You could do this with more than two, but I’d suggest no more than three, four might be a stretch.

Gatlin's Escape Games - The Village

This is a challenging room, be ready to climb some stairs. Great puzzles and amazing sequences between rooms. We did this room with just my wife, myself, and our 7yr old daughter. We probably could have done much better if we had another adult, so definitely need 3-4 people to do this room.
Mr. Elegoo's Enchanted Emporium
The Ocala Escape
Escape room
IRL
This was my first escape room and it was a lot of fun. The staff was great and I appreciate that the hints were just hints, not complete solutions. The tech/“magic” was very good. This would be a great room for any first timer and/or family with young ones.

The Escape Game - Berry Hill
Escape room

This is The Escape Game's first ever escape room, and it is definitely a Gen 1 room. It is still fun, and some puzzles were challenging. We tend to overthink some things and it happened with this room a couple of times. This isn't a must-do room, we were here primarily to play Ruins. But since we were visiting from out-of-state and the other rooms there are at a closer location to home, we jumped at the opportunity to take on this room when we were offered a discount.
Neighborhood Watcher
The Escape Ventures - Orlando
Escape room

This was our first "thriller" room, and it was great. Enough thrill suspense to keep you it in the back of your mind, but not too much that you can't focus on the tasks at hand.
Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown
The Escape Ventures - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
This was by far the best room we have ever done. The set design was great, the puzzles were challenging but not to the point of frustration. The room kept you in that groove of challenge and fun through out the entire time. The GM was phenomenal and I believe every GM there is great as we've done another room there with a different GM and he was awesome as well. They love their jobs, and with the rooms they have there I can see why. From top to bottom, start to finish, this room was fun and challenging in the best ways.
Operation Treehouse: Capture the Flag
The Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]
Escape room
IRL
This was such a fun room to do. We did it on Escape Goat’s last day. The staff was very nice and though it is sad that Escape Goat closed down, I know Escape Ventures will take great care of their games, including this one. This is a non-linear game with some wonderful injections of humor. The theming is spot on. There were a lot of puzzles but with a solid team of 4+ you can get through it without a panic. This room was so much fun we’re coming back to do it again with some other family members.
