Yes it is meant to be scary since there's a live actor in this HOWEVER it's not like at all a heart jumping out of your chest scary. It's more thriller. The puzzles? phenomenal. It is such a small room but it is absolutely a crazy wonderful experience. definitely in my top 5 favorites of all time.
