The Ministry Of Peculiarities
Escape room
IRL
YES! THIS IS A MUST DO! I'm so glad I saved this one for my 100th room. This totally hit all the buttons from what I enjoy in escape rooms and the immersion was soo good! You totally get taken in for a wild and spooky ride as you step foot into the ministry. Man, there's so much I want to say but I don't want to ruin the experience, even slightly. Even the clues that are presented through your journey are "otherworldly" in design, which make sense and doesn't take away from the experience. Just know that when you do come here, allow yourself to be taken in to this world they've created. It will be much more enjoyable and unique to each and every one that gets involved. Our team had hours of discussion about our "investigation" and many of us feel like this was at the top of the list as one of the best! Have to give credit to our GM and live actor as their performance made this room one to remember.

Highly recommend this room. The puzzles were thought through well and you can split up a bit to work on multiple puzzles. I think 4-5 people is good for this game. Story is pretty immersive with some great effects and visuals. GM was friendly and very welcoming. We had a blast and loved how we kept a good flow during our time there. No hints either. A very satisfying experience and ending. You’ve got to do this one.

This was amaze-balls!! Such a well designed room with lots of space and lots of things to do. Puzzles connected really well and made sense. We had a blast!!! Literally! There were also a lot of good movie easter eggs that I’m sure everyone will enjoy. The tech in this room was legit!!! Felt like a little bit of Goonies meets Indiana Jones with a sprinkle of the tiki room. Very immersive and deserves the accolades it’s received. A must do on any escape enthusiast’s bucket list!

Man the flow of this room is great! It's linear but the tech and special effects are top notch. I've played their Dragon Wand room and I had high hopes for this one. Let me tell you that it did not disappoint! These guys know how to make a quality room and do a great job of giving their guests a worthwhile experience depending on their skill level. I think I like their Dragon Wand room just a tad bit more, but this is still one you don't want to miss. The GM mentioned their will be a part 2 to this room and I'm so looking forward to coming back. This is definitely a room I highly recommend, especially if you are a Harry Potter fan. So put this on your wishlist, fo sho!!

A little creepy, a little spooky, but lots of fun! From the start you dress the part and become part of the performance. The live actor was on point and got us all immersed in the story of the room. It's fairly linear but the puzzles were thought out well and made sense. Our group of 5 got through with time to spare. Good special effects and a very memorable experience. Put this one on your list!

Man, this was pretty damn good. Great setup by our GM Tara to get us immersed in the story. The room had a great scare factor but just the right amount to give you a sense of urgency to remove the curse and get the "EFF" outta there! Hint system was legit too. Really kept with the theme and it was up to us to use it our not. The puzzles made sense and were also really put together well. We were able to break off in a couple groups to complete things so no one was sitting around for our group of 5. Gotta be one of the best IMHO!

Awesome! This was definitely a fun one. Puzzles were a real good mix and felt like our team of 6 were always busy with something to do. I would have to say that there were a number of challenging puzzles that really needed some time to work through, hence the 90 min time limit. But I felt for the most part, they were pretty rewarding. We were able to complete the 'tasks' asked of us with time to spare. Recommend this for enthusiats. May be difficult with beginners but if you get a good group of different skill levels, I think you'll do fine. Just try to keep things flowing. Definitely on the MUST DO list!

Room was very well done and fit the theme tremendously well. Some of the puzzles were unique which made for a fun team building experience. I would recommend this room to anyone. GMs were awesome and very friendly. They were very good at the little things to make your visit a bit more personalized. We felt very welcome and will definitely be back for their other room.

Yes. Do this room! Excellent story and decor. You really get immersed from the start. Some really good and unique gameplay in here and our GM was a superb host. Not much I can really say without giving away some fun moments here but think of this as a role reversal, where you are rats in the cage, while the rats are the ones testing you! We had a group of 6 but I think maybe 4 or 5 would work well. More than 7 might get a bit cramped in some places. Difficulty I'd say in the medium-hard range. Good for enthusiasts. Beginner's may find it a bit challenging in spots. Overall though, it was a blast and highly recommend.

The attention to detail in the treehouse is amazing. Felt like a kid again climbing around and playing games here. You can tell that there's a lot of love and care put into this escape room. Lots of stuff to do here so I think at least 4-6 people would be a good amount. For the most part, it was fairly non-linear and the tech used here was pretty cool. A good challenge and a pretty rewarding feeling at the end for us. Very family-friendly too. Would totally recommend putting this one on the list!
