Immersion level was high, puzzle quality was high, and the level of difficulty was up there with some of the hardest games we've done. Unlike those other rooms, this room was difficult on purpose! Loved every second inside this room.

Nearly all the puzzles required outside knowledge, the room/props/puzzles were run down, the bartender/GM was friendly but not helpful. There was even one puzzle that required thing-X to go into thing-Y. We knew what we needed like 5 minutes into the room. About 30 minutes in, the GM asked us a simple question about thing-Y and when we gave her the correct answer she just handed us thing-X. What a terrible way to time-gate a room!
