Mr Pepper’s Toy ShopThe Cipher Room St PetersEscape roomIRLEven before you go into the room the whole warehouse gave me slight chilly vibes then to add to that the incredibly tall, wry smile of the GM who seemed to glide up behind you without a sound was enough to send me on my edge (he was amazing!) before I even got into the room…. The room itself was good, puzzles were difficult enough to be interesting… but the production value at certain points just blew my mind… wow!
IntrudersMission Escape George StEscape roomIRLLoved it! The production value, the story, the ending, the actors… the room! Love love loved it!
The GameNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLHats off to the owners for building a room that succeeds in making you feel like you’re on a game show. The puzzles were fun without being overly difficult but mannnnn the Gamemaster sealed the deal for me… that energy, that voice acting, that attention to detail…. And you heard his oral commentary live while in the room!!…. Seemed practically unscripted!!…. Love the energy and passion of this place
The Show Must Go OnNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLThe room is not very difficult and if you are all about beating the clock and solving hard puzzles then this might not be for you. But if you embrace the novelty and go with the flow and get into the theme I believe you will enjoy it. Final comment… the rooms in this place fun but it’s the gamemasters that steal the show (imo)…. They are enthusiastic, passionate, engaged… they bring the rooms to life… we ended up talking to the GM for about 10 mins after the game just debriefing and getting the backstory…. The owners should be proud to have such great staff
MementoCubic Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe more rooms I do at cubic the greater appreciation I have for what they offer. Unlike other escape rooms that pride themselves on the difficulty of their puzzles, or production value... The rooms at cubic are imo about the story and the aim is not to beat the clock but rather to engage your imagination and let the story unfold before you, guided through the rooms like a witness through someones memory. Momento is one of those rooms and it's the first escape room I left feeling attached to the characters. Well done cubic escape
The Recording DeviceCubic Escape RoomEscape roomIRLTbh. I found this room confusing. I applaud their innovation in trying to marry escape room with a murder whodunnit concept... But I think they fell short in implementation. I think this concept has great potential and I think it speaks highly of the room creators that they would want to try something like this but I think they should've structured the roles better so they weren't so thematic.
