7 Deadly SinsEscapology - CarlsbadEscape roomIRLOverall, it was disappointing and upsetting. I would never recommend this escape room with all the issues I encountered in the room. First off, I personally found the puzzles to not be intuitive and hard to figure out. That’s just the least of my problems with this room. Two puzzles didn’t trigger right away, which sucks because it was a linear room, so we were stuck waiting, confused, and wasting time because of a technical error. TWICE. This location is relatively new and already there are so many issues. Additionally, at one point using two finger strength didn’t open a puzzle we needed to complete, so that slowed us down. Lastly, when we pulled on part of a puzzle (with two finger strength) it BROKE. The staff was quick to fix it, but apparently it was the SECOND time this has happened. And at the end, I don’t even think we got a sorry or any form of compensation. Unless this room has major updates, I suggest saving your money on a room that actually functions. With the high price tag, I expected at least a functional room.
