Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLExtremely well executed. We went into this not realizing this was more of a scary/thriller themed room but ended up loving it for that exact reason. The live actor does a great job in making the game extremely immersive and really drives home the theming. As an experience this was probably our favorite room at TEV, overall it's only surpassed by Operation Arctic Storm. As many other reviewers have mentioned Escape Ventures literally does not miss.
Operation Arctic Storm: The Final MeltdownThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLTEV does not miss, all of their games either at the Orlando location or the rooms they've helped to build with other companies are always top notch. This game was extremely immersive and MASSIVE in scale. The only bad thing about TEV is once you've played all of their games you're left waiting for them to make new ones.
La Cerveseria [The Brewery]EnigmikEscape roomIRLOut of close to 80 games played this was by far the best. European escape rooms put 99% of American escape rooms to shame. The room was massive, the immersion was top notch, the puzzles were high-tech and interactive, and the game master was amazing. The owners built the room in such a way that FORCES everyone in your group to participate so there's no issues with more experienced players doing all of the puzzles while the less-experienced players get left in the dust. They also have an interesting way of accommodating smaller groups even though the game was ideally designed for groups of 6. We did it as a group of 2 and had no issues.
Disappearance: Last LocationWill To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLGreat room. Great use of space. Fun mix of interactive/high tech puzzles and lock and key. Perfect level of "spooky" for those that aren't comfortable with scary rooms.
Shipwreck IslandSplit Oak Axescape GamesEscape roomIRLBoth rooms at this location are great. This room is advertised as the easier of the two but was plenty of challenge even for seasoned players. Great use of the space and a mixture of interactive/tech as well as standard lock and key. Not sure why this room doesn't have more reviews and isn't higher on here yet Definitely holds up in comparison to their sugar factory room in all regards. Would say 3 or 4 people max though as it is on the smaller side
Dr. BraingoodThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLGenuinely don't understand the negative reviews for this. Yes, there are tasks to do but they're presented in the form of riddles where you have to figure out exactly how to do said task. I will say a few puzzles in the beginning were not clued well and it did feel a little short.
PrometheusClock Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLGreat game. High tech, both in puzzles and theming. There's a display in the room where you can actually see all the actuators/microcontrollers/network equipment that controls the tech in the room. Had unique puzzles we had never seen before that were beautifully executed. We had a little bit of trouble getting started in this room but once we got a feel for how the style of puzzles we were able to get our rhythm going
