Mutiny: Skull IslandEscape Games at the RiverEscape roomIRLGreat combo of new gen and traditional locks. Great mix of puzzles. We did this with two people and its possible to complete this puzzle with just one person. Really nice combo of logic, observation, riddles and a surprising use of senses. This room is a classic. Great them and a nice way to give clues!
InksidiousEscape Room 66 - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLThis room is a must! Escape rooms 66 are a family owned business and they think out of the box with their themes and room design. This room is simply delightful, I won’t give any spoilers outside of they are puzzle heavy and you will be treated at the end if you can solve it!
Montauk ProjectMyssTic RoomsEscape roomIRLSo much fun! This room was so well designed and the puzzles were really fun. One of if not the best escape room in the nyc area. My team of two got out in 40 mins. We are pretty experienced so this room could be tougher for those with less experience but we would rate it as easy. It really stays on theme and fun for kids too. Definitely a must do in nyc
Whatever Happened To The Garretts?Maze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRLThe atmosphere was next level. From a hushed environment to exhilarating to weird, this room takes you on a journey. The storytelling is phenomenal. The ending leaves your thinking. Be ready to make connections between many elements on your way to find out what happens to the Garrett’s…!
The Mush RoomEscape Room 66 - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLFantastic experience! As usual the story and the theme of the room are intriguing and off the beaten path. This room will have you scrambling for time as you try to race to solve the puzzles to the sweetest finish! I would recommending doing this room and inksidious back to back a sweetened experience experience.
Red GiantQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLIf you are just starting escape rooms and have not done an Egyptian room before, this will be fun. Not too puzzle heavy and the theme will still feel new. If you have done Egyptian rooms before this will be been there, done that and I recommend you chose another room. The saving grace are two elements that are very cool that I’ve never seen before (43 escape rooms) but really not with the expensive dollars this room costs * The location is in an iffy area. Beware of vagrants, homeless and gangsters. I wouldn’t come here at night especially. *
The PerfumerQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLThis is a medium difficulty room with about 2 difficult puzzles. You get to use a lot of your senses here and a nice storyline that is different than most games. Overall a nice experience due to the great storytelling
The Live ThrillerBorderliveEscape roomIRLSuper creepy but not scary, but scary enough to make you apprehensive to explore the rooms. A full immersion experience with indoor and outdoor elements. Get ready to experience something like no other, incredible story telling, design and video production. Def go at night to add to the creepiness level!
The MorgueWill To Escape - JupiterEscape roomIRLThis was my first escape room ever. I went with one other person and it was his first too. This got me hooked on rooms. I didn’t try hard at first and was bored and just couldn’t understand the puzzles until the end or concepts like order and that there will be red herrings that throw you off. Some really good scares in this room and I don’t scare easy, I took off running once! I had to make up my mind not to be afraid anymore which helped me enjoy the room. Now I have a few more escape rooms under my belt I can see that the room would be easy for more experienced escapers and hard for someone who is just starting. Fun room!
Space StationRed Button EscapeEscape roomIRLOur first space themed room. This was room 30 for us and we did with 3 people one person who it was only their 3rd room. Lots of puzzles in here be prepared to move fast. Also not a lot of light. Lots of red herrings here so have to figure it out fast what parts of the room you need. Lots of decor and props makes it immersive. Mechanical locks, which I like, a few automatic locks too. Def worth the visit
