The in room host is loud, overbearing, and rude, which is supposed to be funny but just left our group extremely irritated. The opening safety talk also took me by surprise with its venom and rudeness. Of course, some people will enjoy this environment, but I would not recommend to people who enjoy working through puzzles on their own and feeling a sense of accomplishment.

I played as the person in the middle room- the one linking everyone together, and I think that might be the least interesting one. A lot of my job was being a gofor for everyone else. Overall not my favorite room but I appreciate the unique idea and my companions all had a good time

ZoeEscapade GamesEscape roomIRLThis is a haunted house with a couple of puzzles in it, and most of the puzzles are “It’s very dark and hard to find what I need and all I have is a candle.” Not for me.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle60Out - MelroseEscape roomIRLPlease don’t give me hints if I don’t ask for them! It seemed like the game master was talking to us on the intercom at least once every 5 minutes without us asking for hints. Poor immersion and so much broken tech. I love some of the ideas but the execution fell short.
Red GiantQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLRed Giant has a spectacular set and excellent atmosphere. But it felt a bit wasted with the puzzles as they are. It’s definitely not a puzzle dense room, and the ones that do exist are not clued particularly well, nor do they give obvious feedback upon solving. As a result, some of the puzzles felt random and nonsensical. There are also several items built into the room that appear to be old puzzles that were just never taken out (always frustrating because they stick in your mind as things that need to be solved and then nothing comes of them). Overall, puzzlers will be bored, but scenery lovers will be thrilled. Oh, and you get to wear costumes, how fun is that?
