Chapter 3: The MorgueOff The Couch GamesEscape roomIRLAs a major scaredy cat, my anxiety was high when we first entered the experience given the theme and optional side quests. Once I got over my fear, I was able to appreciate and solve the puzzles in the main room. The premise/gameplay of the room is creative and unique.
Παρεκκλήσι & Κατακόμβες [Chapel & Catacombs]Lockhill - Nea IoniaEscape roomIRLI hate scary escape rooms, but this one takes the cake for an immersive, cinematic experience. Instead of feeling like a series of small rooms, the space felt like an authentic layout of a chapel and catacombs in its own world. 5 ppl made for a good size, esp with some scaredy cats and tight spaces.
Treasure IslandBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLGreat set production and amount of puzzles. Escaping is possible with two people but we needed some nudging in order to escape on time (which was a fun challenge)! I recommend Brain Games and am bookmarking their other rooms for next time.
Wizard's TaleEscape Again RoomsEscape roomIRLGreat number of puzzles that were diverse and right level of challenge for 4 ppl. This room lives up to the hype.
The Cabin: Chapter 1Escape Hour AustinEscape roomIRLI can’t properly rate this room since I generally dislike and underperform in scary rooms. It was very immersive, and I was on edge the whole time. We were told the actor can touch you, but once we were acquainted with the live actor, it became less scary.
Paradox Project 2: Το Βιβλιοπωλείον [The Bookstore]Paradox ProjectEscape roomIRLThis is a game that I will think back on for a while! After a long day of sightseeing and traveling, ending the day with a >3hr escape room was a little ambitious but experiencing this room was worth it. The halfway break(with our choice of music) was thoughtful. The puzzles were very creative and mechanical, which our group was enthusiastic about. And the amount of puzzles and rooms was impressive.
Wong's ChineseThe Perfect EscapeEscape roomIRLLooked and felt just like a Chinese restaurant! Great room for 4-6 people. Any more than that might feel a little crowded.
The Great Houdini Escape RoomPalace GamesEscape roomIRLThe rooms at Palace Games all deserve “hearts” for its production value and creative puzzles. However, there is a lot of reading involved that I personally found excessive.
William's HikeEscape Again RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was an enjoyable room for our party of 4 - solid quality of puzzles and props. Out of the three rooms Escape Again offers, Hike is probably ranked third on my list. Only critique - there was a puzzle that we did not solve due to an oversight, only to realize that we didn’t need it to escape the room.
