Perpetual Motion
Elude Escape Rooms
Escape room

The first room I did and got me addicted to the industry. They set the bar really high here.
Wine Cellar Escape
Escape Manor Brisbane

Good theming with nice puzzle flow. Hosts don't really know how to do a walk-through/ debrief after though...

Did this room as a duo, with my colleague never having done escape rooms before that day. We got out of this with half the time yet to go... Super basic puzzles, the only difficulty coming from being blindfolded, nothing further. I'd try all their other rooms before this one
Dr. M
Mission Escape Pitt St
Escape room

Some of the props were slightly dated in this room but had a good flow to it. Probably better for teams and players in the earlier part of their escape room history. For experienced players you will have seen the style of most of these puzzles elsewhere - not a critique, they are classic puzzle styles. There is one puzzle that uses augmented reality via tablet which isn't great as it slows everything down, but the rest of that puzzle was pretty good and a nice team engagement
The Mystery of The Missing Professor
Arcadium Adventures

Passionate staff and holistic experience. Would be good to see their rooms rely on their strong puzzles rather than augmented reality shortcuts though
Stumped [Outdoor]
Elude Escape Rooms

Oh wow. This an outdoor 'escape', and made it perfect to introduce our friends to a puzzling experience without going inside (because so many people incorrectly think Escape Rooms are going to be claustrophobic). We even split our big group into to two groups and could go head-to-head against each other at the same time. Really cool puzzles that would self-reset, we could pause the game and have a picnic at the tables provided (go on a sunny day!)
Godfather

Would be just okay except for a faulty puzzle with RFID pieces not triggering. Not even the GM could get it to work properly...
Busy Bees [Outdoor]

We took our 9 and 10 year olds to this and let them loose on the outdoor puzzles. The theming was great and there was a good mix of difficulties and types of puzzle for them to test their minds on. Definitely a great space to do a kids party for birthdays etc, that isn't the same party venues as every other gathering these days. Wouldn't take in 12years+ but that age is fine for the other rooms they have there.
Cursed Carnival
Breakout Auckland
Escape room

A couple of cute puzzles but nearly every prop showed a lot of wear and tear, the same concepts were repeated across puzzles, no immersion value, and the final lock was broken. Staff did their best to be nice about it but they don't know how to run an escape room. These are just weak additions to an amusement center. I'd spend my money elsewhere first before going to any of their other rooms...
Hitman
Escape This - Manly Beach Sydney [prev. Room Eight]
Escape room
IRL
Lots of wiring loose when we went, and broken furniture exposing what turned out to be maglock/ arguing unit type stuff. That and a timed lockout period on a safe lock after a wrong combination input shows why that type of safe doesn't get used in escape rooms any more...
