City with No SunNerd EscapesEscape roomIRLInteresting concept and well executed. Can definitely see why enthusiasts enjoy the room. I will say, even with the pitch black, the puzzles are fairly simple. My main issue with the room is a complete lack of story or theme. There’s never a story presented and even the ending video is a very odd send-off. I would recommend the room to play as a fun sensory experience but as far as immersion in a story, it sort of misses the mark.

Like many have said, the set design is incredible and very unique- however the many of the puzzles wear and tear effect the gameplay and overall the props in the room are not in the best of shape. GM's did not help much when we were stuck on a faulty puzzle and really just let us fail the room and were unapologetic in the end. Overall didn't like the gameplay or puzzles in this room at all but 9/10 for the set.

Game master and owners spends way too much time explaining the rules and there’s few things more frustrating than being over- explained how locks work. Happened on both rooms we’ve played at this location. Lots of self promotion for average rooms. The theming here is nice and it’s a spacious room with adequate puzzles. I wouldn’t rave about it but it was fun. Same for their science lab room.

Western Bank HeistEscape The Room - LittletonEscape roomIRLIt’s one of the few public rooms we’ve played post-covid and frankly, the fact that it was public may have been the best part. The couple we played with was experienced and fun to play with- with that said, the room itself is not great. Bad puzzles, time wasters, and overall a Gen 1 disaster with really bad props.

Kidnapping 2: Afraid of the DarkBreakout Games - Virginia BeachEscape roomIRLIt’s just not a great room. To be the newest Breakout room, you would expect the puzzles and tech to be up to the modern standard. Instead very Gen 1 puzzles and a useless handcuff and blindfold gimmick that doesn’t provide anything to the room. Also the story and character are laughable. It’s one of Breakout’s worst rooms- if not their worst. Not at all Scary either.
