SeanceThe Cool SpaceEscape roomIRLAmazingly different escape room! Would recommend to anyone that has played a few rooms and is looking for something different to stand out.
The Flaming PearlEclipse EscapeEscape roomIRLFelt disappointed coming out of this experience. Multiple puzzles were broken, causing game master intervention. They did say beforehand a puzzle had broken but when in the game it was clear that it was more than one puzzle. The game play itself was erratic with no clear flow other than a light up wheel which tells you which puzzle to complete next. However multiple puzzles are solvable before their time. It felt like playing a room where the designer had a bunch of unused puzzles from previous rooms and tried to throw them all together to make a room. There wasn’t much sense of achievement when completing a puzzle, as you just look at the wheel to be directed to your next task. Props and set design felt a little cheap. The game master after completion told us that most teams don’t make it out as the room is too hard. I don’t think the puzzles are hard, but the lack of flow and signposting makes them confusing. Along with a huge amount of props that are not part of any puzzles and just for looks, I can understand why teams may fail through no fault of their own.
Cellar EscapeSt. Louis EscapeEscape roomIRLThe room was well themed, but a huge amount of stuff is just for the theme and doesn’t need to be there. The brief was so ridiculously long, full of ‘don’t touch this, don’t do that, this will be found here…’ etc etc. Completely killed our excitement because we just stood in the room listening to the rules for 10 mins only for them to be repeated again on a video.
The Christmas Heist!Padlock'd Escape roomIRLThe most awesome Christmas room I’ve ever played! So festive and fun!!
Blackbeard's Revenge - A Pirates CurseSt. Louis EscapeEscape roomIRLThis game was good, the puzzles were enjoyable but nothing out of the ordinary. Didn’t like how one puzzle required the use of something we had already used, this was the only thing we needed a clue on. Also this company does restrict clues, just fyi for any beginner teams or teams that prefer free use of clues. The room looked great and was well themed.

The TheaterEscape the Room - St. LouisEscape roomIRLWe flew through the game solving all puzzles in 30 minutes, only to spend the next 20 minutes sitting in the room because we couldn’t get the game masters attention to explain that their keyswitch puzzle was not working (a puzzle we had ‘completed’ at the very beginning, but as it was a non linear game, this was one of 4 parts required for the final sequence). We were genuinely seconds from walking out and leaving when she finally paid attention and gave us 3 clues for puzzles we had already solved. She then came in the room and said ‘oh it’s not working, the number is this …’ and then we put in the code and finished. We clearly explained that we were unhappy with the game and received no recognition on the faults. No team photo, no offers for any compensation, no explanation. Horrendous experience, awful customer service and a genuinely terrible venue.
The Clock TowerEscape the Room - St. LouisEscape roomIRLQuite possibly the worst escape room I’ve ever played in terms of puzzle design, flow and game play. It looked okay but that absolutely does not make up for how awful the game runs. Every single puzzle was an ‘oh, did that do something, was that right?’ moment.
