The AlchemistSherlockedEscape roomIRLTop notch room. Definitely worth playing. The set design is extremely impressive. The puzzles were novel though not super hard so I think you're coming more for the wow factor of the set. That said, you should come for the wow factor of the set.

Invasion60 to Escape - MilwaukeeEscape roomIRLThis is a good room that’s probably worth doing if you’re in the area (but it’s not so good that I’d travel for it). The set is immersive and the puzzles were pretty good. They said this is the hardest room but we found the puzzles more straightforward than the pirate room. That said, I’ve been to plenty of other rooms where the story, puzzles, and set came together better. One thing that’s kind of obnoxious about this company is that they upsell you on getting unlimited hints (versus the built-in 6). We ended up only needing 4 but paid the extra just in case. It feels nickel-and-dimey to charge $15 for more hints.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - NYC MidtownEscape roomIRLVery nice scenery. We did it with 3, which bumps up the difficulty (in a good way) a bit just because there are quite a lot of puzzles to do.
The ObservatoryThe Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLQuite a nice room. Lots of puzzles with unique mechanisms and they made good use of the physical space. There were some puzzles that felt a little frustratingly arbitrary but overall I’d recommend a visit.
