Whatever Happened To The Garretts?Maze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRL7/10 It's ominous but not spooky if that makes sense. On a hot day this would be terrible, 80's didn't have AC so don't expect it. Overall this game was linear, so you won't go wondering if you skipped a piece. So that's great about this room
Big Brain Labs60Out - HollywoodEscape roomIRLOk so I did enjoy it when I thought of it as an activity play room rather than an escape room. Activities were fun and how technology advanced this is compared to other rooms is wow on the high notes but again it felt kinda handed out
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle60Out - MelroseEscape roomIRLSo much to do and I can't believe me and my group passed it. If you get stuck. Close your eyes, Deep breathe and step back and try again with refreshed eyes. Once you get it, you're gonna be upset you didn't see it earlier.
Houdini60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLWell designed room. More physically demanding from any other escape room I've done. This is not scary but if you are claustrophobic I would caution. I would rate this on the easier side than medium, often thinking if there was more to it.
The Temple of Lost GoldMaze Rooms - Robertson BlvdEscape roomIRLOne room felt like a boiler.. not a spoiler but just watch your footing. Thank you Willow our game master even though we didn't ask for hints but you did make sure to check up on us if we were ok. Did overall enjoy this room so much!
Da Vinci's Secret60Out - HollywoodEscape roomIRLStarted off with Becca super enthusiastic and pumping us up. Very into the story of the assistant and made us feel not alone. Overall this room was so fun. One of my favorites so far. The room had us critically thinking in one puzzle then not over thinking in another puzzle. Sometimes the simplest answer is the right one and sometimes the hardest is the way to go
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - TorranceEscape roomIRLI over thought every puzzle, not to say they were easy but the simplest thing can also be the answer. The overall room was well designed. Definitely a 2-4 person room. Anymore would be a tight fit.
The DepthsThe Escape Game - TorranceEscape roomIRLSo far my favorite. Got paired with another group making it 6. At times one or 2 of us stood there waiting for the others to finish the puzzles. But after the puzzles were plentiful. Attention to detail was key to completing this. I would not have completed it without the other team and bringing a separate set of eyes.
