The puzzles were very fun and challenging enough to really make you think but not frustrate you. The atmosphere and mechanisms were very interesting and kept us smiling the whole time.
The Chesapeake Bay ButcherColonial Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis is probably our #1 favorite escape room that we’ve done so far- and we’ve done quite a few!! The puzzles and rooms were so detailed and fit the theme of the “butcher” so well. We liked that the rooms changed throughout the story and different clues were in different rooms so we had the run back and forth! I liked that the game master and employees were proud of the room and enjoyed hearing our feedback.

The props were very gory and fit the theme perfectly- it really made you feel immersed into the story of the “ripper”. The puzzles were somewhat challenging yet cohesive and fun to solve. The live actors really made the experience for us! Highly highly recommend!!
The RavenUnlocked History Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe loved this room! The nonlinear puzzles put a fun and Interesting twist on the room. We throughly had fun completing this one! There was a very “different” puzzles that made it more unique and help you think outside of the box- especially if you do a lot of escape rooms- it didn’t have that repetitive feel. There was a lot of puzzles but didn’t feel overwhelming.

Breathe!!!Escapism Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThey give you the option before going into room if you want the more difficult experience or easier experience. ***if you do NOT like to do a lot of reading or following through manuals chose the easier option. We like more of hands on type of puzzles. But the first room itself was decorated well.
The Witching HourSurelocked InEscape roomIRLWe really enjoyed the puzzles in this room but even with 75 minutes we weren’t able to escape. My boyfriend and I have done 30+ rooms and struggled finding enough time work through all of them. We enjoyed the rooms and the props/decorations. Only suggestion would be to turn off the timer when using a hint because it took a while for the girl to come into the room and figure out what hint/clue she wanted to give us.
