Wizard’s AcademyHometown EscapesEscape roomIRLIf you love HP, this room is definitely one you should check out and play! The storyline was great and the props were done really well. The room was super interactive, the puzzles were done well and the tech was great! We had so much fun solving the puzzles together and navigating the room. The owner was so nice and the overall experience was really great!
The Crystal CaveThe Valcarol MissionsEscape roomIRLI LOVED this room! It has by far been the best room I’ve done in Charlotte so far! From the beginning it is super immersive and the amount of detail that goes into the room, storyline and puzzle is on point. The tech is next level, and the staff and owner was just awesome! Jody, the owner took time to chat with us later and he was super welcoming and really cool to talk to. The game isn’t linear, and I liked that we could all work on different puzzle simultaneously. Communication is key so work together! I know that I’ve already done this escape room, but honestly I kind of want to go back and do it again! I highly recommend!
IllusionTimed OutEscape roomIRLThe room was awesome! The decor was great, the puzzles were really well thought out and the story line was really interesting! The puzzles were challenging and the game flowed really well! I really liked the concept and we had a great time! I’d recommend! It was a great experience overall!
The Hidden Lab MissionThe Valcarol MissionsEscape roomIRLThis was the 2nd room we did at Valcarol Missions and it did not disappoint! It was a great room that flowed really well from the storyline into the puzzles. The tech in the room was done really well, the puzzles were awesome and the props were next level! The amount of detail that goes into the rooms here, you can really tell a great deal of thought was put into them from start to finish. I really recommend visiting these escape rooms because it truly is an immersive experience from start to finish! We can’t wait for the 3rd room to be completed so we can come back and play that!
Crisis At 1600: First Strike!Hometown EscapesEscape roomIRLThis room was good, but it wasn’t my favorite. Some of the locks were confusing to work but we got them in the end. The storyline was okay, but the props and everything tied well with the theme.
The SpeakeasyEscape EightEscape roomIRLThis room was by far the hardest room I’ve played yet! There was a lot to pay attention to, but I loved all the props and the story behind it! They used more traditional locks like spin locks, directional locks, keys, etc. in the room so not really tech advanced but it did have some cool features in there. The storyline was good, and every minute in there literally counts so use them wisely and pay attention to EVERYTHING!

Blackbeard's CabinHometown EscapesEscape roomIRLThis room was small, but the story was fun! There were A LOT of treasure boxes with locks to be opened and it was fun! We only used one hint, and the game flowed well. We really love hometown escapes. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the rooms are always interesting and fun!
