There were upgrades too. Great room for experienced escape artists but also perfect for beginners

Prison BreakRed Door Escape Room - San DiegoEscape roomIRLThe place looked great. Big budget franchise and I was excited. But the room was not properly set up. Multiple doors were left unlocked (but we thought we unlocked them) which left us kind of chasing our tails due to misunderstanding what actually opened the doors. There was also at least 1 major hint that they neglected to place in the first room. We still got out and it was anticlimactic to say the least. They gave us a “my bad” but that was about it. No offer for a future free play, percentage off or even a vibe of regret. Prob won’t go back 🤷🏻♂️

The Lost Jungle SafariBrainy ActzEscape roomIRLEverything about this place was terrible. TheY were like 45 mins late but when they arrived they seemed more annoyed than apologetic. The room was crazy hot and the AC didn’t work. Battery in the flashlight was dying but we weren’t sure if that’s how the light was supposed to be for the room. They finally gave us another flashlight but didn’t pause the time. I can go on and on but in the end we apparently had 1 more puzzle before we would’ve escaped but time ran out and they wouldn’t allow us to finish the last puzzle. 46 mins late, no apology and no extra 5 mins to finish. These guys suck 🗑
