AvalancheMaze Rooms - Robertson BlvdEscape roomIRLIf I didn’t know the name/theme of this room, I definitely would not have guessed it after playing. The irony of the rooms was that they were uncomfortable hot. The GM was great, but I’m pretty sure he triggered one of the puzzles that didn’t seem to be working correctly for us, if not two of them. I really do not know what all the “incredible twists” other reviewers saw in this room. I saw totally unrelated elements, none of which has anything to to with the “theme.” Also has a late start, filthy bathrooms, no offer of taking a photo for us, and not told what our time was. Just overall disappointing.
Titanic60Out - HHLAEscape roomIRLThe manager at this location offered us a free game here to make up for our experience at Brain Labs. There is a more thorough review there. However the gm here was disappointing and the final puzzle was broken and another puzzle didn’t function for us as it apparently did for other players I asked. The manager, who was previously responsive to emails, never responded after I gave her this feedback.
