The Starlight MotelEscape Artist Greenville - DowntownEscape roomIRLLove this room! I was nervous about doing this room because I thought it was going to be extremely scary but it wasn’t like that. It was creepy, yes but not bad at all. This is my first (and only so far) room with a live actor and he was hilarious. We were so into it, that we didn’t realize the time. We escaped with, I believe, three or four minutes left but it seems like we were playing longer than that. It’s just that immersive. I 1000% recommend this room. It is my all time favorite. The staff at Escape Artist Greenville are awesome.

ClueBreakout Games - KnoxvilleEscape roomIRLThis game was fun. I'm not big on who done it rooms but this was a very clever play on the game Clue. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed. That made it more worth it for me.

I’m not a big fan of logic puzzles which is what you will need to do to escape but one of my group members is really good at them so we had that covered 🙂. The props weren’t easily distinguishable (I can’t say more without spoiling it) which added to my frustration towards the end.
Star Trek Discovery: Damage Control [prev. Star Trek: Quantum Filament]Escapology - ColumbiaEscape roomIRLThis room was okay. There were a lot of puzzles and it was a bit too much to me. However, it did fit the theme of a futuristic time but I got overwhelmed.
Whiskey Runner828 Escape RoomEscape roomIRLCheck out 828 Escape Room in Sylva, North Carolina. My family and I did all three of their rooms (The Game Plan, Boone’s Revenge and Whiskey Runner) and had a blast! Yes we did escape all of them 🙂 Ian, our host, was very friendly and bubbly. Javier, our game master, was very attentive, engaging and funny. I like that he was personable when giving us clues/helpful hints and called us by our names as if he actually knew us lol Tiffany was also very friendly. I would definitely recommend that y’all check them out. They’re about an hour away from Asheville and about 20 minutes from Cherokee.
