Rise Of The IcarusCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLAs some reviews have mentioned, this one felt a little tasky. That being said, the theme is spot on and the puzzles are enjoyable. It's also a unique experience to have an escape room with zero physical locks.
Museum HeistBreakout Games - IndianapolisEscape roomIRLThis room is nothing to write home about. It has all the elements of an escape room, but they feel like they were dumped out of a box and into the space. The puzzles feel very disconnected and there are zero tie-ins to the the theme beyond the intro video and a few pieces of art. Every puzzle but one was lock based, without clear indications of what answer went with which lock. We had a good time, but that was more due to the group of people than the room itself.
Wild WestFox in a Box TucsonEscape roomIRLSome of the puzzles were unique and not things I'd had to do before, which was a nice surprise. A common theme in my reviews though is story, and while the room theme is solid, the why from puzzle to puzzle was very lacking other than to stop the bomb. Why did the Sheriff set all these puzzles?
