Storyteller's SecretBoxarooEscape roomIRLThis is the best escape room I’ve done to date. It was very well thought out and very immersive. You are constantly moving and thinking. The detail in the room is phenomenal.
Conundrum MuseumBoxarooEscape roomIRLWe were told that you should have a minimum of 4 people for this, but we were able to escape with 2. Teamwork is key during this room. There is a high volume of puzzles and they require a good amount of brainpower at times. Definitely recommend this room.
Mystery of the Magician's StudyBoxarooEscape roomIRLThis is a stellar room if you’re getting into escape rooms. This is my least favorite of the rooms at Boxaroo, but their quality is exceptional so even their weakest room is better than majority of rooms. This room isn’t without flaws. A few locks were sticky and wouldn’t open, some of the puzzles need refreshing. You also aren’t allowed to decide if you want hints; they are given to you automatically which is disappointing. We went in with a goal of no hints and before we could make the decision, hints were presented to us. I still highly recommend this room. I would start here if you plan to work through all three at boxaroo.
Dungeon ViiLegends Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLVery well put together room! A good mix of types of puzzles that flowed very well.
The HeistThe Escape Game - DedhamEscape roomIRLThis room was well designed. A few of the puzzles were more challenging than others. My boyfriend and I signed up and ended up being joined by a group of 6 additional individuals. This room is not big enough for a group of 8. We were all stepping on each others toes, talking over each other, and multiple people were left to just sit down and not get involved because there were wayyy too many cooks in the kitchen. There should be an option for booking a full room for a group, even if it comes with an increased cost.
Wild West HeistLegends Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLDo you love math? This is one of my least favorite rooms that I’ve done. Too much math involved IMO. The room wasn’t challenging, just took a lot of brain power to solve the never-ending math problems. The game master also was sending hints without us asking for them.
