Cornstalkers: Lost in the MaizeThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis was so fun! Also SO SCARY! This game is complex, full of puzzles, and did I mention SCARY! Shout out to Felix & Keilee, they were phenomenal! 100/10 recommend!
The Seventh RoomDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLThe other reviews really dulled my expectations, but this room was INCREDIBLE. I don’t usually like scary rooms but this one was immersive and the puzzles were awesome. The GM was awesome, we’ve yet to have a bad experience with them!

Nightmare LandsEscape-topiaEscape roomIRLThis room was awesome if you like a classic escape room with an original horror overlay. The staff is phenomenal, the game had seriously fun moments, and there was always something interesting happening. This is one of the best experiences we’ve had as more than our usual duo (we had 4).
Smoke & Mirrors: Houdini's Final EscapeThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLDid this game as a duo, and had a great time! Our GM, Melody, was incredible! We did finish the Expert Game with almost 12 minutes left, but it would be best for a group of 3. The name seems intense but for newcomers the extra puzzles are still worth it, even if you have to ask for a clue to two. We had a blast, it is definitely a room to check out!
Operation: RingfallEscape ArtistsEscape roomIRLWe played this opening day. Dan was great! This game was very fun! Not overly focused on number/letter locks, more tactile in nature. Great for beginner/moderate players. Tactile puzzle dominance usually isn’t my jam, but this one was kitschy and cute! I play as a duo and we had a blast.
SherLock StudiesThe Escape EffectEscape roomIRLDid this room as a duo, the puzzles worked together very well. We escaped with minimal clues. I agree with the label “reading intensive” but it isn’t large passages, it just has reading of some kind for almost every clue. The clues fit the theming.
DraculaLockbustersEscape roomIRLI ended up giving this room a like instead of a dislike, because I can appreciate that they were trying to come up with a room that was challenging in its own right, instead of just puzzle dense. HOWEVER, the puzzles lack any kind of intuitive flow and we (a duo that usually works pretty well/quickly) found ourselves looking at each other confused and then looking around an almost empty room with no sign of what to do next. The room was a 9/10 difficulty, but not because the puzzles were complex, instead they were either 1. Hard to find. Or 2. Hard to understand. Our GM was great and the vibe of the room was great. HOWEVER, one of the major pieces was broken and the GM had to help us because it was broken. I can understand that some groups will like this room because it is a little outside the box, but most will teeter between a like and a dislike.
