Servants of SleightThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLA friend has been hyping up this experience to me for over a year. All I can say is that he did *not* oversell it. Even if I were inclined to spoil things, I would have a hard time finding words to describe this room. It's jumped right to the top of my favorites list. And our game guide, Ben, is amazing! Quite possibly my favorite game guide ever! If you have a chance to make it to this venue, do it!
Pins & Needles Tattoo ParlorThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLThe puzzles and immersion in this experience are some of the best I've ever seen. And our game guide, Ben, is the best! He made an already top-notch experience even more amazing. If you have a chance to make it to this venue, do it!
Castle FlüffendorEscape Artist Greenville - Hampton StationEscape roomIRLI played this room as my 150th escape experience. Not only is the room another awe-inducing entry in Escape Artist's Chimera Corp universe, with a combination of unique puzzles and fixed story elements that had my whole group giddy, but the management went above and beyond to help make my escape milestone one to remember. The only thing negative I can say about this room is that it was the last one there I had left to play, and I want more!
Yuletide MagicEscape Artist Greenville - DowntownEscape roomIRLI love holiday rooms and I've played a lot of them. This is my favorite thus far! Inventive and clever game play that left my while group smiling ear to ear and talking about how cool all the aspects were throughout the entire room.
The DIEnerIntense Escape - Tampa LocationEscape roomIRLI loved this room! The puzzles were all fun and hit the sweet spot of "challenging" while flowing well with the theme. One of us is really hesitant about "intense" rooms, but the framing of the "scary" version of this room was great -- you got ominous music before scary stuff so it was actually light on jumpscares. The owners are super passionate and offer great customer service. Would definitely go back!
Dr. Fratelli's CabinEscape Artist Greenville - DowntownEscape roomIRLIt's hard to believe this is the venue's first-built room. It is still heads above a lot of other venues. The puzzles were creative and fun-challenging and GM interaction was fabulous.
Puppet Heist: The Hand Of LifeThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLI enjoyed this game a lot while playing. The framing of the adventure and set design are great. However, some of the puzzles could be workshopped to improve the game flow. I'd still recommend playing it for the uniqueness.
The Ballad of the Sleeping DogfishMission: Escape CartersvilleEscape roomIRLThis was a super fun room with a lot of unique elements. As always with this venue, you can tell the experience was created with thoughtful attention to all the details by owners who are truly passionate about giving you a great escape.
Temple of TikalTotal EscapeEscape roomIRLI agree with a lot of the other reviews here that this is a very creative room with a lot of fun and unique puzzles. However, there are also a couple of puzzles whose design make them inherently frustrating and can become giant time sucks. This is especially true with a small group. As a team of 2, we needed either a third person to handle the puzzle density (especially given some adding extra work by being somewhat confusing or hard to work) or an extra 5 minutes. Larger groups would have fewer problems. Players should also know this room requires at least someone on your team have some good dexterity. But, all in all, I enjoyed the experience, for all the details listed in the [spoilers] reviews.
UFO: Go For LaunchThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLIn my opinion, this is the best room at this venue. Very creative set design and some unique, active puzzles that I really enjoyed. There was one puzzle that I was really unfond of. But, in the grand scheme, it didn't keep me from loving the room.
