The Grand Parlor13th Hour Escape Room - WhartonEscape roomIRLEasily my favorite of the 13th hour line up and I am certainly not alone in that opinion! This game is spectacular with high tech, high production value and genuinely tricky puzzles that could remind any enthusiast what made us fall in love with these games in the first place.

Before MoonriseEscape New HavenEscape roomIRLThis was a solid new game and I would say one of Escape New Haven’s best! I played opening weekend and even with some technical troubles, the thought, care and quality of the game still showed through. There is also an opportunity to choose your own ending to the story which was all the more engaging! Fantastic game all around!
The ScoreEscapismEscape roomIRLThis game was genuinely impressive!! I am always taken back when things surprise me at this point and this game did just that. This is very similar to The Heist that Clue Chase used to offer and I would argue that the puzzle quality is higher than that with even more replay-ability. I would go back just to chat with the staff alone as they were all so incredibly kind and engaged with your experience. You’ve got to come try this one!!
Movie MayhemCodeword EscapeEscape roomIRLI absolutely LOVED this game!! The closer you look at the set, the more details you get to notice and each puzzle feels so genuinely a part of the room that at times it’s hard to believe elements are suppose to be interacted with. With an entertaining surprise towards the end, this game is well worth a play through, especially for movie theater lovers!!
The Great Room13th Hour Escape Room - WhartonEscape roomIRLThis room is award winning for a reason. If you are anywhere in the tristate area, you have to make your way here to experience these games for yourself. Definitely not for the faint of heart (especially in October) but if you ever wanted to feel like the main character of a horror movie, this is the escape game for you.
The Cookhouse13th Hour Escape Room - WhartonEscape roomIRLA very solid addition to their line up! Not my favorite as it got a bit too graphic for my liking at one point later on in the game but aside from that, another great game!
Time Chasers: Race for the CureTrap't Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomIRLDefinitely one of the most unique escape rooms I’ve ever played! The story was a bit cut and dry but it tied the set together well which is one of the biggest sells of this room. The set is awesome and very well executed and will give you the feeling of being a time traveler!!
Houdini's WorkshopPanIQ Room - NYC [prev. Clue Chase]Escape roomIRLAbsolutely gorgeous sets with very interesting puzzle design! I would just recommend bringing a group of at least 4 as me and my partner found ourselves running around a bit. Also definitely try to come in light/athletic clothes as it can get pretty hot in there!
The CryptEscape New HavenEscape roomIRLWe played the in person version and really enjoyed it! I am never disappointed in the creativity of the puzzles at Escape New Haven, they are always very unique and are directly connected with the plot of each room. I wouldn’t say this was the most challenging or best room of their line up but overall a solid game that is worth playing.
