60 to Escape - Schaumburg
Escape room

Awesome, awesome room. Super original theme incorporating easter eggs and themes from 60 to escape's other rooms without repeating clues. Everything flowed well with straightforward linear clues and once again, outstanding sets. This room was a bit too easy for me and I definitely recommend 4 people at most for this room as it gets hard to delegate clues and some rooms are smaller than others. This room was some of my group's favorites though so highly recommend.

My favorite room of all time. 60 to escape has my favorite sets almost all with high tech. This room was a perfect difficulty where you won't get stuck but it's still a challenge with a lot of different puzzles. There was a bit of reading in this room but you were able to skim for important parts so that's ok. Super clever and original theme with good guidance and flow. Good game master too.

Magic Heist

This is such a unique spin on regular magic rooms as it feels like you're in Houdinis office (but with references to the magician from the mystery manor room at 60 to escape). It incorporates every sort of magic trick you have seen in your life with clue solving fashion. The set is unbelievable and had me jaw dropped. I did this room with just one other person and we finished just on time with about 2 minutes left. I wish the ending was a bit different but the whole process was very cool. Steps are both linear and non linear as you can start with any clue in any order. If you are stuck on any one clue you can move onto another which is nice. I will say that sound effects were frustrating in this room and you should definitely listen, feel, and look at everything in this room to not get stuck.

This was a great room! It was a bit overwhelming to start as it is pretty nonlinear and you can work on many steps at once, but later it moves a bit smoother. We had 4 people and I think it was a perfect number. Every clue was fair in this room and very straightforward which I love. There were a few moments I was shocked by the clue/reveal which is always a plus. Our game master Victoria helped a lot as well giving us nudges when we got something right but entered it wrong and without that we would not have finished. Interesting it was themed as a jewel heist because it's more of a "manor mystery" but great set design and many rooms!

While I enjoy other rooms at this location more, this room still makes my top ten of all rooms and has a super different theme I've never seen before. Every clue is fair and pretty straightforward. The set is awesome as always at 60 to escape. It was also a good mix of techy and mechanical clues. Great experience.

This room had a geeat atmosphere. You could tell it wasn't cheap as it had a great set design like the Mona Lisa room here. The gameplay was a bit rough as there were only so many clues that were pretty easy or pretty hard. I expected there to be more clues/rooms (despite almost not finishing). We only had a hard time on this since we spent a lot of time at the beginning and end. If you get momentum you'll like this room and if you get stuck it can be frustrating. Love this location and the staff.
