Battle of the beasts! We fought off King King, braved the cave creatures and returned with an intact ax! Woo! π¦π¦ Solid set, cool special effects, and good puzzling. Definitely an improvement on some of the older 60out games.
Cool transitions and engaging gameplay!
Set is definitely a strong point in this game

Really wanted to like this one, but left disappointed. While the technical execution was excellent, I feel like other older rooms can have more charm and ingenuity without needing excess technology. It barely was an escape room, more like a walk through experience. The puzzles were more like tasks and I donβt think I actually had to really think at any point. On a subjective level, I felt l the room was lacking wonder, depth, or heart. There also was an in-game hints system that would nudge us even though we asked for no unsolicited hints. I think it might be better suited for kids, but not escape room enthusiasts. While this is a particularly critical review, being one of the newest and technologically complex games on the market, it should hold its weight, especially at the price point.
There were basically just different tasks you had to do. Matching, searching, making simple connections. I donβt think I actually had to use complex reasoning once

very high-budget room with essentially no real thinking puzzles. a lot of focus went to set/prop design and high-tech. mild teamwork used, and thematically on point in regards to the humanside of Godzilla v Kong in the American movie version. one puzzle seemed out of place, felt like an arcade of sorts, but the rest were alright. works with people who enjoyed the action from the movies, and not for escape room veterans.
beginner-friendly, 2nd half of room made more sense
well done on set design and immersion

The biggest downside to this room was things not working. The game design: great. The puzzles had a lot of thought put into them and the set design even more so. Connection to the brand was there but minimal in terms of story. 2 or 3 puzzles of ours kept us held up because things did not click on the gamemasterβs end and that stumped us more than the actual puzzles which was frustrating. But it happens and the gamemaster was accommodating in the end for any hiccups. Still a very cool room to experience.

This room was amazing. The effects and the technology were awesome.
The set design was so immersive.
Our GM Jacky was amazing. We were able to get our stickers and do back to back games with Casino Heist 2

Very solid room. Good production value. Not too hard but had lots of fun!

The atmosphere and effects were really special, some of the best I have seen. There were a few issues however, with the puzzles. They were in concept extremely easy, but many were designed in a way that time gated us or didnβt work without Gm intervention. We also ran into issues with the high tech nature of the room. It was extremely impressive, but if things were not done in the exact intended order it can really mess up the system. As a themed experience, I could not recommend it more. As an escape room, itβs less worth it. Just decide whatβs most important to you :)

The set and some of the special effects in this room were fantastic. It was very high tech, not a single lock in the room. It was, however, too easy of a room in our opinion. The room has a built-in hint system that will tell you what you should be doing at certain time intervals. We asked them to turn it off during the experience, since it either spoiled things or was just plain annoying, but it did not stop. We asked about it afterwards and the staff said that it cannot be disabled. I think for more experienced groups something like this can ruin the experience, and the staff should be able to turn it off. Puzzles were fine, some of them were pretty video-gamey. In terms of theme and story, there are many movie references that I appreciated but a lack of Godzilla himself; it felt like more of a King Kong themed room only. We had a good fun time but only spent around half the time in the room. I am not sure if I would recommend this to experienced players except to challenge them to do the room solo, which is definitely possible. But itβs probably great for beginners who are fans of the movies.
A really fantastic set
The staff were nice enough, they just seemed like they didnβt want to be there

One prop/part of a puzzle was damaged that the staff knew about but couldnβt fix before our game. And there were broken pieces of something else (a magnet and part of an LED strip) just on a table, we did not know what that was from. Also, a drawer that was meant to pop open got very stuck due to the contents inside being wedged in, and we had to wriggle it open (not technically broken, just inconvinient and wasted a minute).

Phenomenal set design with seamlessly integrated puzzles. The set and puzzles intuitively progress the story. One puzzle was broken when we played. Our GM, Ari, was friendly and efficient. We had a great time and this would be a good room for beginners and younger players or enthusiasts who want to play a well-executed and beautifully designed room.
The automated hints moved us along slightly faster than desired (sometimes we like to struggle with a puzzle first before asking for help).
Loved the βtechyβ elements of the set, and the sound and lighting unconsciously supported the puzzles.
Ari was awesome!
