“My boyfriend and I initially visited the Escape Artists to do Baldwin Manor. After completing that room we wanted to do another, but there were no more scheduled rooms for an hour. Our GM Jess kindly accommodated us and got this room set up early so we could try it out before needing to catch our flight home. We liked Cat Burglar even more than Baldwin Manor! Very innovative clues, both high tech and old school. Highly recommend! It seems like Baldwin Manor and Cat Burglar are similar difficulty levels, but we escaped Baldwin Manor and not this room. Highly highly recommend!”

“One of the most fun escape rooms I have done. They have a one of a kind puzzle that makes for a great time. I definitely recommend this one. I wouldn’t do this as your first ever escape room though, or you might not get out. It was a good challenge!”

“Rating: 4/5 Fun room with lots of tech and a quality set. I liked the puzzles, they were not too easy or hard and the room flowed well with some hidden surprises. Everything was pretty tactile with many electronic triggers and minimal padlocks. The theming was strong and there was more than a single room to explore. The GM/manager was also very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend 2-4 players. Between this and the Candy Factory, both are good. Just pick the theme you like more.”

“Loved this experience, first with this place. Super fun, great aesthetics and fun theme. They were really accommodating because we brought our baby and made him even have a good time (candy) lol. Thanks!!!”

“Rating: 4.5/5 - A must-play in OH, fantastic looking set with high immersion and terrific use of tech/lighting/effects. It's worth driving a couple hours to play here. Pros: ➕Set is beautiful, immersive, and thematic ➕Lighting and special effects were terrific, feels almost theme park quality ➕Puzzles were challenging but not unfair, I enjoyed the variety. Note that they are fairly non-linear so it's better with more than 2 people. ➕Great use of tech with only 3 padlocks ➕Interesting narrative with a fun ramp up in intensity towards the end ➕Friendly owner and GM, GM gave us just enough nudges without being overbearing Room for improvement: ➖Some of the puzzle flow wasn't the best, we spent time trying to solve things that couldn't be solved yet ➖Way too many visible, unused brass padlocks that take away from immersion ➖A bit too much reliance on reading text from the screen for puzzle confirmations and where to look. The info is helpful but with a bit more obvious in-game signposting/lighting, then the info wouldn't be necessary. Particularly the drawers, the indicator lights could be clearer. Instead of the screen, it would be cooler if they could use more of the character in the corner to communicate puzzle updates or hints like I've seen in some other rooms. "Spooky" is appropriate as there are some creepy moments and some minor startles, but it is obvious when the startles are coming. I'd recommend 4-5 players, 2 would be doable but challenging.”

“This was such an upgrade and colorful room. Meant to focus on Thanksgiving and collaboration, it's a real challenge for just two people, but definitely possible as we made it through. Cute puzzles that were an absolute treat to complete. I appreciate an escape room that can incorporate joy and humor so elegantly with an impending clock!!!”

“Beautiful! What an awesome room filled with top notch puzzles wayyyyy beyond what you normally see in an escape room. Truly a work of art from the intro video through the experience itself with treats your eyes, ears, and even nose! And there’s an absolutely WILD part that had my heart pumping and my sister and I giggling with joy. Thank you for a memory that’ll be tough to top ❤️”

“I cannot say enough positive things! So well built, clues were very well thought out and cohesive, the storyline was perfect, the mechanics of the room were some of the best I’ve seen in an escape room. You really feel like you’re underground.. the thought process behind keeping certain areas in the room warmer.. wow. Just overall amazing. We do a lot of rooms and this has been our favorite! Beautiful building, great staff.”

“Love this one!! Super immersive game with a different atmosphere in each section of the room. Fun puzzles!! Struggled with two puzzles that might click easier for hunters or anyone more familiar with guns, but thankfully our game master helped us out. Highly recommend!”

“My wife and did this room and it was a lot of fun. Some reviews may suggest a large group due to the amount of puzzles. I will admit there is a lot going on, but I feel if you have prior experience you can handle it. The theming and atmosphere are spot on. Object usage was imaginative even though similar to other rooms we’ve played. Overall we were very pleased with this room experience. Keep it up Escape Game. We’ll be back.”

“Such a blast! My husband and I found this to be one of the cutest themes we've ever enjoyed, even though we've completed 50+ rooms! It was a bit challenging just the two of us, but we made it out with a few minutes to spare. None of the puzzles are extremely difficult; there are just a lot of them! The attention to detail and unique way this room tracks progress is so much fun!”

Columbus, Ohio is a beauty! From the towering Statehouse that sits in the center of Capitol Square to the numerous green-spaces and parks from across town, beauty radiates throughout this bustling urban center. Of course beauty isn't enough to make a city great though. Thankfully, Columbus also delivers when it comes to things to do and see. From world-class museums and galleries, to sports teams representing both college and professional sports leagues and attractions such as COSI – North America's largest science museum – there truly is something for everyone here. On top of all that, you can't beat the temperate weather Columbus enjoys during most months of the year! All these reasons help explain why Columbus continues to be one of America's greatest cities.
Columbus is home to several exciting escape rooms that offer challenging and immersive experiences for participants. One popular option is Captivating Worlds, which features rooms like "The Sins of Doctor Faustus," and "Deep Underground." These rooms offer unique themes and puzzles that will challenge participants' minds and teamwork skills. Another notable escape room in Columbus is Team Escape Rooms, which offers rooms like "Curse of the Hidden Temple," and "Nightmare in Pink." These rooms are designed to test participants' problem-solving and critical thinking skills while providing a thrilling adventure. Whether you're a local or visiting Columbus, these escape rooms offer a fun and exciting way to test your problem-solving skills and enjoy a unique adventure.
Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
