The Big 4 HeistBig 4 EscapeEscape roomIRLLots of padlocks with keys. Puzzles that were not particularly intuitive. Well near the bottom of the 100plus rooms we have done. Nothing particularly horrible or bad just a real lack of fun or ah ha moments. One number puzzle answer that can be messed up by customers where impossible to figure out except by trying all the combinations of 4 numbers.

Too many red herrings. Some puzzles were needlessly confusing/ counter intuitive/ of obscure. A couple time killing puzzles that were not fun. Seems like a cookie cutter chain escape room experience.
Family Game NightGreat Escape Mystery RoomsEscape roomIRLEnjoyable room. Only one puzzle that I would consider unfairly difficult/obtuse. Hint system was ringing a doorbell and gamemaster coming in the room to see what you need. Luckily we only needed the one hint. My group of three experienced escapers agreed there was nothing to hate about the room but nothing particularly impressive either.
Phantom Of The Big TopThe Ultimate Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLOn the good side some unusual hand built props that you can’t see anywhere else. On the bad side some props were old and either completely broken or not working well. Game had consistent and fun theme but some of the puzzles were a bit obtuse without any logical way to find the solution. Part of a 4 location chain that is clearly more than the owners can keep up with. This could be a successful and consistently fun room for any level of escapers but instead it’s more of a classic old toy that needs repair and some TLC.
