    This is ranked our #3 of all time (and is Julie’s personal favorite). This isn’t an escape room, it’s an experience. We have never felt so much wonder in a room. There were times we just stopped to take in what was happening around us. Scary but by no means terrifying. We don’t want to give anything away, just take from us: Do it! Chris and I both have favorite memories of this room we talk about all of time (and they are different memories!). When we want to explain to someone how amazing an escape room can be, this room is always top of mind. Anyway, we can’t say enough without giving spoilers, and trust us, you don’t want any. Let the magic happen. We stayed talking about it with the Haider and Marvin for about 30 minutes afterwards. 😂 It’s always better when you’re around people who are so proud of what they do and have a love for the craft.

    A fully immersive experience that makes you feel more like you’re in a fantasy movie than an escape room. Absolutely mind-blowing reveals and the production value is insane.     When you hear "comedy with live actor" you are tempted to make this face 🤨 Comedy is very hard in any language. This guy absolutely crushed it. And we received a mouth watering treat! Creative puzzles, sprawling space, and not a single lock. Honestly, with how many pandemics, missiles, murderers and jailbreaks we’ve handled, it was utterly refreshing to laugh and just have a great time. We brought two 17 year old boys and they were absolutely delighted. As of writing, this is now #8 on our top ten rooms list. Escape Couple rating: 6 🗝️: Best of the best!     Incredible immersive environment with radio play element and strong narrative. Some really creative puzzles as well. Definite “wow factor” reveals. Most impressed by the idea to incorporate a radio play. Makes you wonder how this isn’t more of a thing. As of writing, #6 on our all time top 10 list.     We have never had a tougher time rating a room. We can’t even put it on our normal scale because this is something so completely different than anything else out there. This review does not contain blatant spoilers, but provides some thoughts on things we would have liked to know going in. First of all, Terpeca lists this as a “not scary at all room.” ☀️ While not scary by our standards, the teens with us were a bit freaked out. More accurate to call this passive 🔦 These guys are seeking to build the master level of escape rooms. They have a vision and we respect the hell out of what they are doing. They are escape room purists, and believe in traditional locks (used in new ways), difficult puzzles and elaborate stories. They felt that one hour is simply not enough for a room (we agree) and have gone for a whopping three + hours, which *may* be a bit too much for many. We were absolutely brain dead by the end. We have our own opinions about how hard a room should be throughout, but they believe in a wave. For the Bookstore, you absolutely need to do the Mansion first. We couldn’t make it work with scheduling and something was definitely lost by not doing the first part. It would be ideal if they could shape it accordingly to whether someone has done the Mansion or not, because scheduling doesn’t always work out when you’re on vacation. Finally, the construction of this place is damn impressive. Mad respect for these guys. We have been wanting “expert level” rooms, they delivered. We just wish we had known that going in, so we could have framed ourselves accordingly. 😂 Escape Couple rating: 🤯🧐🤓 (we use a 1-6🗝️ rating scale, but this room defies normal ranking) In short, it absolutely delivers on what it set out to accomplish.
