Neighborhood Watcher

I really enjoyed the Game Master interactions, they really make the experience. I also appreciated the option to lower the jumpscares/scare factor. With that being said, the puzzles themselves were pretty mid, especially because we had just done their Arctic room, which was fantastic!

Genuinely one of the BEST rooms I've ever played. Some of the puzzles weren't ground breaking but most tied perfectly into the theme and were so fun to see/do! I also loved how unique the story was and the quirkiness was just enough to not be cringe :) after playing all but one of their rooms, I can definitely say the story driven ones are the best ones they have

I love this room! My only complaint (which is just a set design critique and not about the game at all) is I wish the last area had more of a vibe like the rest of the room. If it had just had that extra oomph other than the story development in the decore it would've been perfect! It doesn't take away from the unique game concept and the rest of the room though

I usually prefer more linear, that way I'm able to see it all but we had 5 players, 3 of which being avid escape enthusiasts. This meant that we could all be working on something at once and it not feel too crowded. It was nice being able to look around while someone was working on something and find something useful :) I'm just personally not a big fan of heist rooms in general, but this one was really well done and the props were neat.

Don't get me wrong, their other rooms were FANTASTIC! First few puzzles and set design were cool, 2nd half had a really cool concept but the puzzles were mid, and the last parts were a little janky. Overall it was the tech that really let us down. There were a few things that triggered and we didn't know why, how, or what it did. I can also generally forgive tech mishaps but it was very evident our gm was not paying attention when things didn't trigger correctly. She was very nice though, as was everyone! Just compared to their other rooms, this one is kind of a skip.

I really wanted to like it because I love their rooms but it was a huge miss. I just know they're able to do such cool things that I was expecting so much. I hope they're able to revamp it a little and add to it someday. Most of my qualms are in the breakdown and there was another review I saw on here that was pretty accurate. Definitely don't let this deter you from playing their other rooms tho! Its a mini "Save the City" but Save the City is very much a bang for your buck

A few tech problems and set design is severely lacking when you compare it to the other rooms. The puzzles themselves were also escape room 101 which means we did do very well... if this was my first room of theirs though, I would be like yikes but their Gold Rush and Hansel & Gretal were very fun! If you like their games, might as well do it but if you're debating which ones to do, this can be a pass.

Did not read well enough and was expecting a cute little candy cottage. BUT for someone who doesn't like horror games, the set and the effects were very well done. Overall had fun but the puzzles themselves were pretty basic. One of their better rooms, which is great since it's their newest (as of writing this). Audio is LOUD though.
