This one’s been on our wish list for a while because of the 2D art and it was fun to finally play. Bonus visit from the Beans the cat!
HeadcaseBreaking Point Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThe set design and effort of this room live up to the reviews but I will say this room does not flow. It’s non linear, but there are too many leads available at any given time without the remaining pieces to complete them. This detracts from what actually needs to be done to progress to the next step and in reality it’s actually pretty linear while needing to carry pieces given at the very beginning to the very end. This was not scary when we played. I am really bad with jump scare rooms and this one was creepy in set design only; there were zero scares when we played.

The Outlaw Code: A Wild West Gold RushEscapismEscape roomIRLSolid heart for this one. Definitely in our top rooms of >100. As an experienced pair we liked that we could divide and conquer in this nonlinear room. Beautiful, immersive set that kept opening up to new spaces.
The Asylum: PlaytimeLost GamesEscape roomIRLMust do! This room is unique and the game master, Sean, and other actor/host the best I’ve seen. Immersive and the experience started in the lobby to include live actors for the intro. Game master was part of the experience via voice and with you every step of the way. Scary but not unbearably so. Unique mediums and puzzles. Loved!

While not classified as an escape room because you’re not technically escaping, the games and flow are exactly what you’d look for in an escape room experience. I wish I could do it 10 more times. My favorite game in over 125 games played.
