Save The CityCity 13Escape roomIRLSave the city is the ultimate escape room experience! I am coming back to do each room individually and so far the experience is unique in certain puzzles and different yet fun story lines! The uniqueness to save the city is in the puzzles in the city itself which add so much depth to the plot that each room has to offer. I will say the rooms themselves are varied in style and puzzle execution with a little something for everyone. For those who like classic escape rooms with number locks and directional codes- city reserve and the armory are for you. For interesting takes on themes with unique room puzzles, the diner and cyber station are more up your alley. Overall very fun and engaging with variety for the 4+ hours you’re in the room. Very fun experience with very little like it!
Hidden Temple60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLEverytime you think “this has to be the end of the room” there is more to do, and that is one of the best feelings for an escape room! Very big and sprawling with phenomenal set design and creative puzzles! One puzzle I was not a particular fan of, one involving posing, but that is personal preference. The rest of the group found it fun and silly while I found it disconnected from the theming of the other puzzles. This is my only complaint on any of the puzzles throughout the room- the rest were fantastic and held a little something for everyone! Overall very fun experience and an immedieate recommendation for anyone a fan of Indiana jones or tomb raider!
Invasion60 to Escape - MilwaukeeEscape roomIRLProbably the second best room at 60 to escape milwaukee, most definetly their hardest! The room balances your misunderstandings of what the room -could- be and what it is actually, with lingering fears of what the rooms name actually has to do with the room itself (a very fun twist!). While a tad creepy it is deffinetly not scary. While some say the room suffers from having puzzles not feel directy obvious I think this is part of the charm and mystery the room holds. The only lacking part is the second to last discoverable part in the game- a fairly lackluster hallway, but beyond that the theming and set design is awesome as 60 to escape quality normally Is. Overall very good and hard room that I would recommend to any more seasoned enthusiast!
Pirates Curse60 to Escape - MilwaukeeEscape roomIRLPirates curse has to be the best room 60 to escape milwaukee has to offer. The balance of humor and drama in most pirate themed rooms is a careful line to toe, but this room tackle it perfectly the way Captain Spoopy Bones in Orlando does. With a loveable animatronic narrator against a (fairly creepy) antagonist in the game the balance of the comedy makes for a compelling and fun story line. The room itself also does not rely on any sort of “pirate knowledge”, other pirate themed rooms will use types of sailing knots, parts of a ship, or understanding of latitude and longitude to solve puzzles, but this room being geared for all ages does not suffer from these types of issues. The bonus puzzles also add to a very fun experience all contained within the confines of the rooms knowledge, making them a difficult yet feasible extra challenge. Overall incredibly fun room and great set design, a must do for milwaukee
Mystery Manor60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLOne of the easier rooms at the Gurnee but still a fun one! The creepy theme is present but not dominating to the point it will actually scare- the creepiness comes from the convincing and suspenseful set design throughout the room. A fault of my own, but the room did break by pulling a book off a shelf during the rules video that was unable to be skipped. The other rooms allow you to interact with the room during the rules video especially if you had seen it before, but it is understandable how playing the game before time starts would sequence break the experience. A fault of my own. Overall very fun room with surprises around every corner! Everything you’d want and more in a haunted house theme room!
Duke's Farm60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLSome very fun puzzles later on in this game, but the beginning admittedly lacks. I will say the beginning makes up for the lackluster puzzles with impressive set design, but for anyone who has played the game before, they will tell you how annoying a specific audio puzzle is. The one crawling section was incredibly fun and made me feel like living my dreams from half life crawling through vent structures, very fun addition which really solidified my love for the end of the game. There is also one point in which the clue and time screen is incredibly small, meant to seem “on theme” with the room but something that seemed only detrimental compared to the rest of the theme. I wish this screen was larger because it is nearly impossible to keep track of time between rooms when the screen is out of reach and small. A recommendation for anyone with patience who has experience with other 60 to escape rooms, a fun time but only through a fun game guide, which 60 certainly has to offer
Merlin's Legacy60 to Escape - MilwaukeeEscape roomIRLA very fun room with great sets, smells, and immersive elements! In comparison to other wizard themed rooms, nothing is reliant on Harry Potter or lord of the rings references, but rather a new tale on old Merlin folklore. Very refreshing to see a magic themed room not try to be non copyrighted Harry Potter. The interactive puzzles are very fun, almost no locks throughout the whole experience! Some puzzles were a little hard to grasp at first, for a linear room that can pose a progression issue but one that makes the rest of the puzzle solving feel more worthwhile. One downside is there is only one screen throughout the whole room, with a colorful background, making it hard to see the clues written on the screen that Merlin does not read aloud, and very hard to see since there is no alert tone for written clues. A plain black background would fix this issue, and our game guide commented how the screen would be only in this spot fixing any issues of not seeing a screen later on in the adventure. Overall very fun for all ages with some amazing sets and puzzles!
Cyber StationCity 13Escape roomIRLConflicted on my review with this room because I think it has potential to be a very nice room with unique puzzles, but at the time I played many puzzles were broken and the game guide continuously tried to say that the puzzles weren’t broken and we were doing them incorrectly. A somewhat sour experience in an otherwise good interaction with city 13. My least favorite room here and one I personally would never redo even if the puzzles were fixed, but an experience that could’ve been improved with a different game guide. A fun room for those very into the theming that city 13 is good at, and the puzzles that I had issues with may very well be fixed, but if the puzzles are in the same state of he experience is very average with broken puzzles

The Casino Heist60 to Escape - MilwaukeeEscape roomIRLAnother fun room for 60 milwaukee! While the set doesn’t particularly dazzle like a high end casino it feels like exactly on theme as a sleazy underwater casino. A very fun perspective trick makes the casino take on a whole personality and Is a very fun twist for both returning and new escape room guests. One downside is the response time on some puzzles, a little delayed and picky with numbers. It makes the room last longer but can be a little frustrating if you’re unfamiliar with escape rooms. Not necessarily a bad thing but something I could imagine those new to escape rooms would struggle with. Overall a solid 60 to escape room with fun twists throughout!
