Bonus Fun Time Game Show ChallengeEscape FactorEscape roomIRLA solid, fun room with several puzzles that can be completed at once (so good for larger groups!) Some fun physical elements. Would definitely recommend this company.
Elixir IncHidden Gems Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAn excellent room! Plenty of challenging puzzles in a well lit space. Particularly fun if you have a science background, given the theme! Some non-linear puzzles which are great for larger groups.
Shadow Of CthulhuEscape Room RVAEscape roomIRLFantastic, cohesive room with strong themes. Several non-linear puzzles which are good for larger groups. A real showstopper ending!
The ArchiveDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLA very strong room! Non-linear with a great variety of puzzles. Excellent theming with lots of surprises. One of the best rooms in the area!
ManhattanRiver City Escape RoomEscape roomIRLA solid room with cohesive themes. The set dressing and room design are particular standouts, and greatly add to immersion. The story is compelling and easy to follow. Puzzles are relatively basic and linear, and may be better suited to smaller groups - a larger group of enthusiasts may find the challenge too simple.
7 Deadly SinsEscapology - OrlandoEscape roomIRLA very linear room with disjointed puzzles - a lot of them on the same general theme or with a similar "twist" to figure out the puzzle. Some of them required an unituitive leap which was impossible to figure out without a nudge. There are frankly better rooms in the area.
Farm 51Howl-O-ScreamHauntHaunted houseExtremely silly, in the best way. Little green aliens on the loose!
Clairvoyants ConundrumRiver City Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAn unfortunate case of great ideas executed poorly. Several puzzles rely on small, blurry printed pictures which would be better displayed as posters/more high definition, or recognizing colors that are too similar in the dim light (ie counting blue and green items that are basically identical). You are also expected to read long diary entries of text for instructions/clues, which is not immersive and is just time consuming. There are some neat mechanical effects and the general atmosphere was well themed, but the storyline was convoluted and difficult to follow. Even with only two people, the room was cramped and we had little room to spread out materials.
