Project MinotaurQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLThis is one to experience! The thrill factor is off the charts. Don’t hesitate to book it if you got the dough and the courage to take on the challenge. No disappointment at all. I would warn about flashing lights and loud noises.
Black DragonEscape Room LAEscape roomIRLAmazing room! Definitely one of the top escape room I’ve ever played! The production value is OUTSTANDING! Very large play area, numerous puzzles, and difficulty was definitely on the hit gf we end. It’s easy to understand why 3 players are needed. Highly recommend this for any enthusiast. Definitely recommend keeping your eyes peeled
Ghost StoriesBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe room is very fun and surprisingly cute. Definitely not a true scary thriller room. It’s spooky themed with silly whimsical cuteness. Families can take their kids here without much worry, unless they are honest to goodness hardcore scaredy-cats 😸👻. Gameplay was very entertaining. The way the room is designed makes it very fun to stop by just play. No major rush to beat the clock, lots to do, and everything is somewhat guided. So very beginner friendly as well. I’d categorize the room more as one to do for fun with friends, not a hardcore competitive room. It’s nice to have rooms like this 😁 Only thing to mention is there is one part that requires a bit of climbing. Be careful not to trip 😅 100% highly recommend this room and the whole company! Easily one of the best top tier escape companies near LA! All the rooms they have are amazingly well designed, tricky but not overly difficult to impossible, and themed meticulously to the point of being truly immersed in each room. Don’t hesitate to stop by for an awesome time!
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - TorranceEscape roomIRLOne of the funnest more enjoyable rooms I’ve done in a while. There is so much to do, 2 people wasn’t a great idea. Definitely recommend 3 as a minimum. Puzzles were very on theme for the room and made sense with everything. Easy enough to piece together and great use of space Our GM, Joe was also a fun dude. Very happy to have him brief us and chat after the game. Everything about play that room was great!
The Temple of Lost GoldMaze Rooms - Robertson BlvdEscape roomIRLReally awesome fun time with this room. The theme, production, puzzles, gameplay, and value were fantastic. Highly recommend this room!!! Also, shout out to Damien who was a really fun GM
Operation: Santa’s ListBack In Time Escape Rooms - Del Amo MallEscape roomIRLSome puzzles could be better thought out/engineered. A couple puzzles involved just assuming what to do straight without any indication of what to do. Overall the the room is very straightforward and pretty easy to do. Definitely kid oriented room
The VaultPlanet Escape RoomEscape roomIRLRoom is a really great experience. A bit more old school with less spectacle and more puzzle oriented, which is preferable. Puzzles themselves are solid. Some are easy, some are more difficult, some definitely requires a bit of outside the box thinking. But everything makes sense and no leaps of faith or random connections. Very happy I was able to do this with my gf!
7 Deadly SinsEscapology - Universal CityEscape roomIRLGame itself was fine. The room itself is a bit more simplistic than anticipated, compared to a newer 60 Out or Questroom at least. The puzzles are pretty good overall. More locks than some other rooms. But the puzzles to get the keys and codes are pretty decent. Definitely a slightly more old school way of progressing through the room. Requiring more observation and thinking. Would recommend stating whether you want auto hints or not at the start of the game. Overall had a good time. Definitely gonna be doing all of the rooms
Escobar: Part 2 (The Final Hour)The Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLTime starts the moment the door was open. As GM was talking about the room our time was ticking down. So we started almost 7 mins in. GM didn’t mention anything and that did affect our time. Gameplay itself is very barebones but manageable. Some puzzles are oddly specific and wouldn’t make much sense without a hint or specific thought process. And all puzzles are hyper observational instead of critical thinking. Overall it was a fine times, just not as exciting or rewarding as other places
