Project Minotaur
Quest Room - Hollywood

This is one to experience! The thrill factor is off the charts. Don’t hesitate to book it if you got the dough and the courage to take on the challenge. No disappointment at all. I would warn about flashing lights and loud noises.

The Escape Game - Torrance

One of the funnest more enjoyable rooms I’ve done in a while. There is so much to do, 2 people wasn’t a great idea. Definitely recommend 3 as a minimum. Puzzles were very on theme for the room and made sense with everything. Easy enough to piece together and great use of space Our GM, Joe was also a fun dude. Very happy to have him brief us and chat after the game. Everything about play that room was great!

Really awesome fun time with this room. The theme, production, puzzles, gameplay, and value were fantastic. Highly recommend this room!!! Also, shout out to Damien who was a really fun GM
Operation: Santa’s List
Back In Time Escape Rooms - Del Amo Mall

Some puzzles could be better thought out/engineered. A couple puzzles involved just assuming what to do straight without any indication of what to do. Overall the the room is very straightforward and pretty easy to do. Definitely kid oriented room

Escobar: Part 2 (The Final Hour)
The Escape Revolution

Time starts the moment the door was open. As GM was talking about the room our time was ticking down. So we started almost 7 mins in. GM didn’t mention anything and that did affect our time. Gameplay itself is very barebones but manageable. Some puzzles are oddly specific and wouldn’t make much sense without a hint or specific thought process. And all puzzles are hyper observational instead of critical thinking. Overall it was a fine times, just not as exciting or rewarding as other places

Here’s an important note, THE TIME STARTS THE MOMENT THE GM TAKES YOU INTO THE ROOM AND TALKS ABOUT THE THEME. Any time you spend talking is time you lose in the room. It was fine. Set design was amazing but the puzzles were meh. Definitely more style over substance. End of game feels underwhelming as well. Overall a disappointing experience, about a 5/10
