Volcano Views: Aerial ToursEscape From The 6Escape roomIRLThis is the room that finally unseated my long-time favorite room ever. The single most immersive escape room I have ever done in everything including story, set design/visuals, sounds, and puzzle theming. I also REALLY enjoyed the physical aspect of it. Overall, this is hands-down the best escape room I have done to date. All that said, this is not an accessible room for people that struggle with mobility or hearing. For mobility, there are some fairly physical aspects to the room, as well as some stairs and uneven flooring. For hearing, many of the puzzles are based on sound cues and would be very difficult, perhaps impossible, to understand without those sound cues.
Blackwater Harbor: Echoes of the DeepEscape Room NoviEscape roomIRLOverall, the set design was great, as is typical for Escape Room Novi. The room was fine, I had a good time, but there were no real stakes, no immersion into the scenario. Certain story elements felt like they came out of nowhere, and the puzzles were missing the "Why?" aspect. It was a lot of, "put this thing here because this is obviously where it goes," with no explanation of why we were doing it or what it accomplished for us.

Was honestly not expecting much since it was in such a touristy area, but it is to this day one of my favorite rooms I have ever done. Theming is great, puzzles are fun and entertaining.

The theming is incredible and the puzzles are very engaging. This room has been around for a while now, and is certainly not as automated as others I have done, but it does not feel outdated at all.
