Omescape - Sunnyvale
Escape room
IRL
Overall a great room but it does not crack my top 10 (in my bio). While its puzzles are well done and could be considered hard, when I look back, none were extremely challenging. Other rooms at Omescape had much harder and abstract puzzles. I also take issue with the two puzzles that had repetitiveness. In one case it was confusing to the progression, unnecessarily so (at least imo, others on my team weren’t as critical as I). The other repeated puzzles was fine cuz we had 6 people. If we were only 4 I would’ve found the repetitiveness even more annoying. Others in my group had no issue with it. But very very fun room and a well deserved reputation.

Awesome room! Best in Reno. Definitely worth it in Morty medals and Terpeca nominees. I loved it. Almost everything about it I loved. Definitely in my top 10.

The live actor really enhanced this room and then left us to our adventure. Changed my mind about live actors in escape rooms. Amazing story, puzzles were clever and one was super hard for our group. Truly is an exciting room.

Why are you even reading my review? JUST GO DO EDISON ALREADY!!! It’s my favorite room of all time. Tech was so cool. Puzzles were so unique. There’s a reason it’s called the Edison room. Heeheehee!

Decent room. Not difficult for the experienced. Great for the beginners. Good set design. Very enjoyable. I did solo but if you have more than 3- 4 experienced players then some may be bored. 4 newbies will love the hell out of this room. ***Also found out they have some customizable puzzles so if you’re really experienced just say you want the puzzles on hardest option instead of the medium or easy option just in case.
The Nest [Immersive Theatre]

Not an escape room, like others have said, but it’s AMAZING. It’s meant to be an immersive theater with a few puzzles for interactivity. Would not recommend this for people looking for a rush of the hard earned escape. Only do it if you really care about story, & immersion. The set piece is amazing, the story was moving. Overall though it’s a must do for what it is.

Great room that my team sucked at. Even after we knew what belonged to what, which could be very challenging to determine, it was hard. Live actor was amazing once again for their location. Very satisfying room. Not as good as story keeper at this location but still extremely fun.

Fun room with a cool inn vibe to start. Interesting beginning. A mix of new and classic puzzles both which could be anywhere from easy to hard which (tiny spoiler)….are ranked by difficulty in the game. Very enjoyable room.

I can’t remember watching Evil Dead 2 but I loved Army of Darkness. This room was fun for our group.

I liked the design and immersion. I liked the tech and puzzles. The puzzles were fairly easy imo, but there were a lot of them. A lot. I did this room Solo and I used one clue but didn’t escape and would have needed 5 more min to escape by myself. Two experienced people can do this room. Or 3-6 newbies.
