Escape room

Easily the best escape room I’ve EVER done. My husband and I escaped with 5 mins to spare. The tech in this room is INCREDIBLE. The whole room is your puzzle. It incorporates all 5 senses. The beginning and ending will make your jaw DROP. Side note: hard to find this place, but it’s dead center Amsterdam!

I really loved this escape room for the nostalgia, interactiveness, and storyline. Compared to other escape rooms I’ve done, this one feels more immersive, and has a child like feel. Since I’ve done 70 escape rooms at this point, every puzzle felt similar to previous puzzles that I’ve done in the past, but for more novice players it will likely feel more unique/challenging. This room is also nice if you want to do it with a larger group. There’s a lot of room to move and it’s non-linear.

Pros: set design, service & acting, immersive, lots of tech Cons: lots of bottleneck points, puzzles were fairly easy Good for kids. A harder room for families, but could easily be completed by 4 experienced escape room members in under an hour. Easily a likable room but not one of my top 3.

This is one of the top escape rooms that my Group/I have done. I saw that it got nominated three times for TERPECA. I have no doubt that it will eventually be ranked within the next year. We did crypto escape rooms while in the area, which are ranked, and this escape room blew it out of the water. It incorporates such immersion and has a phenomenal plot, unlike any other one we’ve played before. We really enjoyed the physical elements of this escape room, as well as its unique puzzles and interaction with the set.

It’s no wonder this escape room is ranked on TERPECA. Easily a top escape room. You’ll actually feel like a rat in a maze at times! The tech and plot are super fun. Incorporates almost all 5 senses. Lots of group work but also multilinear. Very fun!

I enjoyed the first puzzle in this escape room. The set design as always is very incredible at this location. This one was very linear.

DISCLAIMER: all the reviews on here are there for a reason, it is what enticed me to this room - all the reviews on Google are great as well. It is definitely one of the most unique rooms out there. I’m writing this because there are no negative reviews, and I do believe there is definitely a high claustrophobia component to this room. Very transparent that it’s in the dark at time, but there’s also crawling and smaller spaces. You’re not able to freely exit at any time - and instead, you have a panic button that automatically ends the game (which does stink if one player has a panic attack). Luckily our Game Masters were really great and allowed us to play their other room Dracula (which was wonderful). There are truly a good company. I just believe this review needs to be out there so that others don’t get very excited for this room and then become disappointed when the complete sensory removal hits them.

This escape room had a magical set and immersive experience! We can think of three puzzles that were new and exciting, while a lot of the other puzzles followed a similar escape room pattern. Sometimes the room was more linear than anticipated, which is our only critique for a group of 7. I would recommend this room as an amazing adventure for up to 2 to 4 experienced people. The set design and experience itself is worth going for.

Pros: 2 unique puzzles/experiences towards the end that make it fun, the staff Cons: the same music on loop, a few glitchy puzzles/locks (3 for us that needed some tech/help) To be honest the room was a little frustrating at times, but the gamemaster really tried to help us out at the end. 1 lock needed some extra tugging and two of the puzzles we had correct that didn’t activate until later. All in all, this room has some unique touches that DOES set it apart from others. Overall though, I’d recommend the Odditorium or Neverland over this escape room though. Would recommend this one for AT LEAST a group of 4+

I love a good 90 minute escape room! It feels like you’re really able to enjoy the experience without feeling as pressured. This escape room is definitely more old-school using a lock and key model, though it doesn’t disappoint! The set is very immersive, and there’s always something to be doing. It has riddles and clues for all people to be working on. I also felt like we really had to work together as a team and communication was helpful! Definitely a solid escape room in Michigan.
