La Cathédrale Oubliée [The Forgotten Cathedral]Escaparium - LavalEscape roomIRLI HATE SCARY ROOMS But. This one was fun! It feels more spooky and mystical with like elements of demons. You don’t have to worry about too many jump, scares or loud noises. The set is very fun and I really like the intro. It feels slightly more believable than other demon or ghost like rooms I played before.

The AlchemistSherlockedEscape roomIRLEasily the best escape room I’ve EVER done. My husband and I escaped with 5 mins to spare. The tech in this room is INCREDIBLE. The whole room is your puzzle. It incorporates all 5 senses. The beginning and ending will make your jaw DROP. Side note: hard to find this place, but it’s dead center Amsterdam!
Ctrl Alt RebootEscaparium - LavalEscape roomIRLCAPTIVATING set. Gameplay is weaker, but the story is SOOO fun. If you are doing a bunch of games at Escaparium, use this to be the one when you are the most tired. Maybe make it your last game of the day? It requires probably the least brain power since your GM guide you throughout most of the story. It’s definitely more linear. However, the set design blows a lot of the other sets away. They definitely spent a lot of money on it and it will just wow you from start to finish.
Armoire à Vendre [Wardrobe for Sale]Escaparium - LavalEscape roomIRLNot my favorite Escaparium room — but anything less than a love for Escaparium would be wild. The amount of detail and attention they put into crafting their set and stories is incredible. I wasn’t a particular fan of this room because it was very linear and focused more on the narrative and storytelling than the puzzles. I felt like there was way too much talking and acting, and I only ended up doing about 3 puzzles total in an hour and a half. Most of the time the guide tells you what to do.
Projet R.E.S.E.T. [Project R.E.S.E.T.]Immersia Escape GamesEscape roomIRLNOVEL and UNIQUE!! This escape room is a breathe of fresh air for experienced escapists!! I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. I feel like this is the type of room that I will be thinking about for years. I love when I feel like I’m inside of a movie or plot.
Le Grand Immersia Hotel [The Grand Immersia Hotel]Immersia Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI really like games where you feel connected to the plot. This one sucks you right in! Compared to other games in the area, the set feels weaker, but place this escape room anywhere else in the world and it would be an immediate top room.
Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLIt’s no wonder this escape room is ranked on TERPECA. Easily a top escape room. You’ll actually feel like a rat in a maze at times! The tech and plot are super fun. Incorporates almost all 5 senses. Lots of group work but also multilinear. Very fun!
Volcano Views: Aerial ToursEscape From The 6Escape roomIRLThis is one of the top escape rooms that my Group/I have done. I saw that it got nominated three times for TERPECA. I have no doubt that it will eventually be ranked within the next year. We did crypto escape rooms while in the area, which are ranked, and this escape room blew it out of the water. It incorporates such immersion and has a phenomenal plot, unlike any other one we’ve played before. We really enjoyed the physical elements of this escape room, as well as its unique puzzles and interaction with the set.
