This was a really interesting game. The first room was well themed and spooky with the atmosphere. The game kind of loses its story a bit going from room to room but there are definitely some “Wow” moments that are fun. Now, as much as I loved the room, our experience was greatly hindered by the game master stepping in to help us with almost every puzzle. Almost to the point where I was ready to just leave the room. I get wanting to help us to finish the room which is appreciated, but we couldn’t even work through a puzzle without the GM stepping in.

Got the chance to Beta test this new experience, and it’s one my group cannot stop talking about! Gameplay, story, tech, and the level of immersion are all on the level you’d expect from TEV, but raised exponentially. There were many memorable and wow moments that were very unique. Long time fans of TEV games will appreciate the Easter eggs too! Definitely worth the drive from Orlando to play! Another home run from the TEV team!

My favorite game at this location. The theatrics and show quality of the game were top notch. Most of the puzzles were intuitive and fun. There were a few times where heavy observation was needed. Still loved the game as a whole and it was a solid experience worth checking out.

The whole experience was so much fun. Puzzles flowed extremely well and everything made sense. The actor interactions were very well done. Our group was very much into the game and I have not ran that much in an escape room before but it was so much fun.

This room beat my expectations. The story and concept were fun and different. The gameplay and puzzles themselves weren’t too difficult, but overall they made sense with a few nudges. If you’re in the area, definitely recommend over Ninja.

Overall experience was alright. Only played a few “Game Over” games so far but they sort of all feel the same. I’m not the biggest fan of a 5 minute time out period between clues. Gameplay was fine. Nothing outstanding or interesting. The “bonus time” for helping reset the room is also an interesting choice. After the game, we wanted to kill time between this location and another location we had later in the day and thought about replaying a game, but the game master ushered us out and quickly disappeared and we didn’t really feel welcome so we decided to leave and not replay.

Having played all 4 Basement games in California, I had an idea of what this game was going to be like, and had hopes that this Unhinged version would be different than the original Basement. I was very happy to find out they definitely amped up the scare factor and it’s completely different from the original Basement game. There were very unique puzzles that I have not seen before. We did not escape but were pretty close. I do feel that this should be a 60 minute game, not a 45 minute game with the amount of puzzles involved. That’s the only critique. Very tough for a group of 2. Still had a great time though and highly recommend if you enjoy a scary game! Game master and actor were also great!

I was originally going to thumbs down this game but the Game Master saved it enough for me to give it a like. The game started out pretty fun but quickly went downhill as we progressed. There were too many of a certain type of puzzle that my party are not huge fans of. There were multiple puzzles that were a bit too frustrating. But the game master was awesome! She was attentive to us and even spoke to us in a “character” which gave us a more immersive experience which was appreciated! Excellent job to her!
