Masterpiece Escapes

This was a really interesting game. The first room was well themed and spooky with the atmosphere. The game kind of loses its story a bit going from room to room but there are definitely some “Wow” moments that are fun. Now, as much as I loved the room, our experience was greatly hindered by the game master stepping in to help us with almost every puzzle. Almost to the point where I was ready to just leave the room. I get wanting to help us to finish the room which is appreciated, but we couldn’t even work through a puzzle without the GM stepping in.

Got the chance to Beta test this new experience, and it’s one my group cannot stop talking about! Gameplay, story, tech, and the level of immersion are all on the level you’d expect from TEV, but raised exponentially. There were many memorable and wow moments that were very unique. Long time fans of TEV games will appreciate the Easter eggs too! Definitely worth the drive from Orlando to play! Another home run from the TEV team!
