Red GiantQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLI went to this escape room as a group of 2 and wouldn't recommend going with more than ~3 Good: The theming and design of this escape room is really great and looks very professional. There are some really cool design effects in this room. Bad: The puzzles were a little too easy for the most part while others were too unintuitive. This room is expensive compared to other better rooms. They also gave us only one headlamp for two people and it was too dark for the person without the headlamp. Ugly: There was one puzzle that as other reviews have said really needs to be removed from the room. It feels like it is hard for the sake of being hard and would be difficult for someone without a hint. I don't know if we went on a bad day either as the GM seemed like he wanted us to get out of there. Overall: A nice room for design/effects, but lacking in the puzzle department.
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - Rancho Cucamonga [prev. at San Bernardino]Escape roomIRLWe played this as a group of 3 with 2 strangers joining our party for a total of 5 players. Good: The first half of this game was super fun and tactile. Bad: The second half of this game was not for me. There were a puzzles that revolved around a touch screen that had too much detail that it was confusing. Also the white board pen they gave us to figure out the puzzle was dying. Overall: Not a bad room. I just had a few issues with the design in the second half. The GM was super helpful and nice.
TombstoneMaze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRLAmazing room! Great for 2 people. Good: This room was great! Everything from the design, to the puzzles and special effects. Note: They did give us lanterns, so it being dark in one of the rooms wasn't an issue as some of the other reviews have said. The GMs were amazing and very helpful. I have nothing bad to say about this room.
