Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLNeighborhood Watchers at Escape Ventures is truly unlike any other escape room experience. The theming is absolutely next level and hands down the best I’ve seen so far (that’s coming from someone who hasn’t done Cornstalkers yet). From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere fully pulls you into the story. Luke was an unbelievable Game Master and made the entire experience even better. His energy, timing, and involvement added so much to the immersion and fun of the room. Even if you’re a total scaredy cat like me, I highly recommend this one. It’s thrilling, incredibly well done, and just an all-around unforgettable escape room experience.
Phantom Files: The Investigation Of Lockturne ManorThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLPhantom Files is unreal. Truly wow. No notes. Every single puzzle was incredible, with multiple moments that felt completely new to us or used familiar mechanics in ways we’ve never seen before. The effects in this room are amazing and the lore is on another level. Everything ties together so seamlessly and keeps you fully immersed from start to finish. Jake took this experience and made it 50x better. He is an elite game master and absolutely elevates the room from great to unforgettable. This is hands down the best escape room we’ve ever done. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring everyone. This is a must-do experience. I just wish it was longer so we could have experienced it even more as we flew through in 65 min TEV room ranking so far: 1.) Phantom Files 2.) Operation Treehouse 3.) Neighborhood Watcher 4.) Click 'N Glitch Arcade PalaceThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLClick N’ Glitch is a silly, goofy escape room that has you giggling from start to finish. The vibe is playful and lighthearted, but don’t let that fool you, the puzzles are actually a bit more challenging than the other rooms at TEV Port Charlotte. It strikes a great balance where families can absolutely enjoy it, but experienced escape room players will still feel engaged and challenged. We played without any hints and narrowly escaped, which made the win feel especially satisfying. The room keeps you thinking while never taking itself too seriously, and the fun factor stays high the entire time. TEV room ranking so far: 1.) Phantom Files 2.) Operation Treehouse 3.) Even the lower-ranked rooms were still fun experiences, which really says a lot about the overall quality here
Nightfall: Creature At Camp DeadwoodThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLNightfall is a solid escape room and a fun experience overall. The atmosphere is spooky without being truly scary, which makes it approachable while still setting a great tone. The actor involvement and atmosphere make a key difference in this room and really help elevate the experience and immersion. The puzzles flow and keep you engaged throughout. Our only real complaint was that the ending felt a bit anticlimactic compared to the rest of the room, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. TEV room ranking so far: 1.) Phantom Files 2.) Operation Treehouse 3.) Neighborhood Watcher 4.) Dragon Challenge: A Hero’s Choice 5.) Bros for Life 6.) Click N’ Glitch 7.) Operation Arctic Storm 8.) Nightfall 9.) Bros for Life: Fraternity HeistThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLBros for Life: Fraternity Heist is a really fun, well-rounded escape room. While the actor involvement is lighter than some other rooms here, the experience still totally stands on its own. The puzzles are solid and make you think, with clear progression that keeps things moving without feeling rushed or confusing. It’s not scary at all, which makes it great for a wide range of players, and there are a few unexpected elements that add nice surprises along the way. The room is linear, which works well for keeping everyone engaged and on the same page. Overall, this is a strong family-friendly room that’s especially great for groups of friends looking for a fun, collaborative experience.
Outage: No VacancyThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLOutage: No Vacancy at Escape Ventures is a really unique experience because the room is almost completely in darkness. That alone makes it stand out from most escape rooms and adds an extra layer of challenge, even though the puzzles themselves aren’t overly difficult. Navigating and solving everything without being able to see much definitely keeps you on your toes. If you’re not a big fan of horror, this is a great option because it’s more spooky than scary. The atmosphere feels eerie mainly because of the darkness, but there aren’t jump scares or anything truly frightening in the room. Overall, it’s a fun, different kind of escape room that’s perfect if you want something immersive and unique without full-on horror vibes. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone looking to try something a little outside the norm.
Dragon Challenge: A Hero's Choice [prev. The Quest]The Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLWe absolutely loved the Dragon’s Challenge escape room at Escape Ventures in Winter Garden. From the second you walk in, the atmosphere is unreal. The set design is incredibly immersive, with insane attention to detail — even the scent of the room adds to the experience. It truly feels like you’ve stepped into a fantasy world. The storyline is so fun and easy to get invested in. You’re not just solving puzzles, you’re part of an adventure, which makes everything feel more exciting and purposeful. The pacing of the game flows really well with the narrative, and each new area feels like a reveal. The puzzles were creative and unexpected in the best way. There were several elements we didn’t see coming, which kept the experience fresh and engaging. Nothing felt repetitive, and the variety of puzzle styles made teamwork important and rewarding. Overall, this room checks every box: immersive atmosphere, thoughtful design, unique puzzles, and a fun story. If you love themed escape rooms with strong storytelling and next-level set design, Dragon’s Challenge is a must-do. We’d happily recommend it to others.
The Video StoreDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLWe gave the Video Store Escape Room at Dare 2 Escape a thumbs up! Overall, we really enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend it, especially for players who are familiar with Dare 2 Escape’s style of gameplay. The atmosphere was one of the biggest highlights. The retro video store theme was immersive, detailed, and fun without feeling cheesy. The set design pulled us in right away and made the experience feel more like stepping into a story rather than just solving puzzles in a room. The puzzles were creative and engaging, with a nice mix of logic, observation, and teamwork. Nothing felt repetitive, and each solved piece was satisfying. That said, a few puzzles weren’t very straightforward. If you’re new to Dare 2 Escape, it might be tough to complete the room within the time limit without using clues. Some of the mechanics feel like they’re designed with returning players in mind who already understand the company’s puzzle style. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes the experience better. They explained everything clearly, kept the energy positive, and made us feel excited before we even entered the room. Overall, this was a fun, well-designed escape room with great vibes, clever puzzles, and excellent customer service. Just be prepared to use a few clues if it’s your first Dare 2 Escape experience. We had a great time and would absolutely come back for another room!
