Cornstalkers: Lost in the MaizeThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLI cannot recommend this game enough. We had SO much fun solving puzzles, being chased and facing our fears. Easily the largest game space we've played in which made it so much more immersive. I had hay stuck to my clothes after I got home. You will get a chance before you start to "adjust" your fear factor so even the wimps can play (we had one in our group). If you like spooky fun or Halloween Horror Nights, this is the game for you.
Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin' PlotzDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLMy new favorite! This room takes escape rooms to a whole new level. The full immersive theming and game play is mind blowing. Truly original and so much fun. Only two locks and so many fun and uniques puzzles to solve. It is like stepping into a cartoon and becoming a character. Highly recommend. Run don't walk.
Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!Doldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAll of Doldrick's rooms are fun and engaging and this one is no exception. We've played a lot of pirate games but this was by far the best. The game has a split start that keeps you separated for about half the game, even though you can still see and interact with each other. Fun story and great visual effects. Just a good time. This would be a great room for team building event.
Under PressureKey to EscapeEscape roomIRLThis is such a fantastic room. Housed in a National Historic former Catholic church, the fun starts right at the front door where you must solve a puzzle to enter. The game theming, story and room are original, immersive and tie into the history of the both the building and town. The game is non-linear and our team of four worked both individually and collaboratively to solve the challenges and escape. Every aspect of this game is top notch including our GM Addison. We had such a good time. HIGHLY recommend.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis game was so much fun and had a unique theme and storyline. We escaped with only 2 people but it’s the first room we’ve done that had one task that was difficult for just 2.
A Twist Of OzKey to EscapeEscape roomIRLThis room was like a childhood fantasy come to life. I was afraid it would lean more into Wicked since the movie is still pretty fresh but was pleasantly surprised to find it was pretty traditionally Wizard of Oz themed. I have wanted to travel over the rainbow to Oz since I was a small child and I was finally able to do it. On my birthday too! You begin in the Gale farmhouse which gets sucked up into a twister and deposited in Oz (and on the Wicked Witch of the East). The room was fully immersive with some fantastic special effects and fun puzzles that true movie fans will enjoy solving. Family friendly and perfect for all ages. We escaped (Toto too) and had so much fun.
The Seventh RoomDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLWe've played "scary" rooms before but this one was actually scary. And in some ways you might not expect. No spoilers though. This is a longer room and you will need most of that time because there are a lot of things to do and it can take awhile in the very dim available lighting. You are required to lock your cell phone and any smart watches in a mailbox at the entry to the room. There are no flashlights and you will need to work by ambient light only. Puzzles are multilevel and require a few solves to complete. Overall, a fun and sometimes terrifying good time. Not for the faint of heart or kids.
Operation Treehouse: Capture the FlagThe Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLThis game was fun with lots of puzzles. The only reason we didn’t escape was amount of puzzles not difficulty. We ran out of time on last puzzle. We played with 2 people. I would recommend playing with 4 which is what Escape Goat also recommends.
The Sneaky Snake LoungeEscape UEscape roomIRLWe had heard good things so we were looking forward to playing this room. There are not a lot of rooms using live actors and it adds something extra to the experience. Before starting, you will be asked if you prefer PG-13 or R-rated language from your actor. We chose R-rated which meant there was some profanity but nothing egregious. Theming was immersive and fun. Game play was a mix of linear and non-linear. Overall, a fun room and we give it a thumbs up.
Prison BreakThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis game has a split start and was only the second time we had done one. We played with two people and were able to successfully navigate everything. There are couple of minor physical challenges but should be easy for most people to handle. Puzzles were thought provoking and like with many other rooms, some of knowledge of chess is helpful. Overall, a fun room.
